  1. I remember seeing Kole at Fanfest a few years ago, dude was raking the ball to all fields, with a great approach at the plate. His swing is very short and fluid. When I saw him then, I knew the kid had a chance at being productive in the bigs, and was pulling for him. So great to see him bust out last night. Go Kole!!
  2. I am guessing yk is referring to lackey talking crap on halo fans after he left, saying we don't pay attention to the games, text, etc. Red sox fans text too..
  3. I read your comment to mean that Dipoto likes Shuck, Hawpe, and Cowgill, and does not like Calhoun. Implying that Calhoun is not up with the big club because JD doesn't like him.
  4. I didn't mean that he was going to get his BA up to .280 for this season. I meant that it would be nice for him to hit .280 for the rest of the year. If he had hit .280 this year with 30 homers, that would have been acceptable given his injuries. He has obviously been a huge issue for us this year, continuing to stink it up in the 3 spot. Which is why a marginal increase in performance from he and Josh for the rest of this year would make a big difference. I also would not mind if he went on the DL and get healed up, but "That's just not going to happen".
  5. Red Sox fans gave Mo a standing ovation? Wow.
  6. On a bad knee and with plantar fascia, .280 with 30 homers would be quite an accomplishment. I still believe, if he is healthy, he will bounce back next year.
  7. He had 4 quality at bats last night. While I don't expect him to hit .330 for the rest of the year, .280 with some pop would be nice. If Josh could hit around the same, it would make a dramatic difference for the team.
  8. This game looks incredible, and massive. Can't wait for it to come out. Glad I'll be done with college by then!
  9. As many have said, I don't like the pitching matchups. Saunders did well against us last time out, Iwakuma owns us, and King Felix Vs. Weave could go either way.
  10. He was heard yelling, "Lackey SKUS!!!" All game.
  11. Ernie was dominant last night. Damn near un-hittable when he's locating well.Lots of off balance swings.
  12. Is the game on TV live on fsnwest? Trying to set it to record from my phone and the guide is showing it's not on until 7pm
  13. AO has so many nicknames that I don't know who he's talking about half the time.
  14. Did you watch the game? Porcello truly had some horrible luck in that inning. Of course, Trout's grand slam was hard hit, but it wasn't even a bad pitch that he drove out. The rest of the hits he gave up were infield choppers and flares.
  15. I have bought tickets to dozens of games on Stubhub, and they have almost always been the PDF files. I have never had an issue with any of my tickets. And yes, I have gone to games this year since the Angels launched the Ticket Exchange. If I had to guess, I've probably bought 8 or 10 games off of Stubhub this year. All PDF printed tickets. From what I have seen, the tickets are cheaper on stubhub because of the minimum ticket price that the Angels set for sellers on the Ticket Exchange. I have heard good things about 714 tickets (Not just from Rodger Lodge) but have not used them yet.
  16. I was yelling at the TV on that play. Unbelievable. 0 for 3 with three GIDP and he can't even run that one out? He definitely could have beat that out if he hustled all the way. Pathetic. I usually get bugged when people post that our players don't care, but that was just terrible.
  17. Blanton CAN do what? Lose 20 this year?
  18. Fifteen hits per nine innings!? Dayum.
  19. Bummed I'm gonna miss this this year. Have fun guys and gals.
  20. The .gif of that pitch honestly looks like CGI. If I hadn't seen the video, I would think it was fake. Damn, that was ugly.
  21. Damn, I'm out of town that weekend. Was looking forward to this as always, especially the first AW poker tournament!
