Its really not fair that we are relying on a 23 year old kid making his 5th start in the majors to be our ace, to be our stopper, to be our guy who gets us back on track...But shit man, Canning, we need you to right the ship.

I like Canning, and He's certainly "up to the task" of pitching a great game, it's just a matter if the Angels Defense can support him, as well if the hitters can get some runs across the plate!

    GO ANGELS!!!!

Go Trevor Cahill!! Show some get-up-and-go or you could be gone for good before you know it.

Go Tommy Boy!!!! The name is official, apparently. The Angels Twitter media maven has so named you!!!

Yeah, I too saw that the Angels Twitter media maven had used "Tommy Boy", so I guess that name has the blessings of the Team!

I don't think it has anything to do with being a millennial. I think it's more of how you were raised and if you had parents who taught what it means to have strong work ethics and to be accountable.

I've seen plenty of Baby Boomers and Gen X's who are lazy turds and play the victim for everything that has gone wrong in their lives or jobs.

YES, it has a LOT to do with how you were raised!!!!! Be accountable for what you do/think, respect your elders, say Thank You even when someone helps you out and you didn't ask for that help, and don't say something to someone that you wouldn't want said to yourself!

wow, page 2 and not one mention of Pujols not being in the lineup.

i don't even know who you guys are anymore

Yeah, I too found it kind of surprising that no mention of AP not in the lineup and already into page 2.

Get a new callup from AAA, and that's what it takes to divert attention away from no AP!

as i've gotten older i've learned to enjoy the game for what it is a whole lot more. no more living and dieing game by game. no more expectations of "maybe this'll be the year for some magic." 2002 went a very, very long way for me. i sincerely hope i get to see another championship in my lifetime.

my daughter thoroughly enjoys the experience of going to games with me. we celebrate the great moments and "oh well, maybe tomorrow night" the rest. she's 19 and has had a sudden resurgence of interest in going to games. i'm going to enjoy that for as long as i can. winning and losing is completely secondary for me right now.

Yes, a majority of how well I enjoy the game is who I go to the game with. From 2005-2012 I went to about 35-40 games a season and went to a majority of those games with a very good friend of mine (who I split season tickets with) about 1/2 of those games. Many of the other games I took my son/wife/father in law/other close friends. I saw many games the Angels won, and many games the Angels lost, but when all is done and said, it was who I went to the games with being the major determining factor of "did I have fun", and I enjoyed every game I went to no matter of the games outcome.
