  1. Stress fracture in foot a possibility. Too bad. This is his hot season.
  2. Likely 700?! I mean its in the realm of possibility. But I don't know about likely. Lets just hope he keeps hitting like this.
  3. I'm a big Ichiro fan, but the only Ichiro I'd like to see in Anheim, is an Ichiro roll with extra Sriracha.
  4. Joe Blanton approves of this thread, unfortunately he's working the late drive thru shift and cannot get online to comment.
  5. I like the rotation. The hitting shows it will be fine when Cole and Hamilton come back. Come July, we will be cooking with gas.
  6. I go to maybe 1 game a year, and it isn't to sit in the OF. I can assure you, I'll never catch a Trout HR, nor attempt to. I'd have three kids and a wife to protect if a ball came that way.
  7. The Ayres I referred to is right off the 57 at Karelia and across from the pond. It's a pretty quick 10 min walk into the parking. Lot. Definitely not 2.5 miles.
  8. I have home run and foul balls I caught in each decade. As a fan of the game I would think it would be cool to own. It's not about a price tag or a milestone. To catch a Pujols home run is pretty cool considering the guy is a hall of famer. That's my point. 498 isn't a significant number unless something bad happens to him and its his last one ever. Again though, there are only a handful of guys that hit #498. So owning it would be cool for me. If you don't see it, ok. Whether you're a fan or not. I'd think catching a HOF HR ball would mean something if you care about the game at all. If you just want to go to a game and get drunk and make a spectacle ripping off a Cub tradition, go right ahead.
  9. Brewer is spot on. The Ayres is walking distance and convenient to freeway and some restaurant choices. There's also a couple of hotels near Karelia and state college that are walking distance and near food places as well.
  10. Man of Steel. Awful Another bad movie I saw last night with Steve Carrel and keira knightley about the world ending equally as bad.
