If this team keeps winning and has a legit shot, you don’t trade him unless you want this team to fall apart. He’s the guy we’d want to trade for if we felt it would get us over the hump. The thing is, he’s already here. If we had our current bullpen earlier in the year, this wouldn’t even be a discussion and we’d all be losing our shit over the team’s insane record. Everybody would be dead set on winning it all. -

AIR Streaming on Prime. This was a freaking fantastic movie. Fun as hell. 10/10 The Little Mermaid Went with my daughter. It was great, honestly. Most of the live action remakes blow, but they really nailed this one for the most part. 8.5/10

…and yet that field looks better than the actual drawings they just released. The new park looks absolutely atrocious. It retains all of the terrible qualities of the Coliseum. There’s TONS of foul territory and circular decks. What the hell are they thinking? It’s the Coliseum without Mt. Davis + a roof. They should go with a modified version of the scrapped Cisco Field. That had the potential to be one of the best parks in the league. It was beautiful. Idiots.

This has to be just about the most successful mid-season/deadline overhaul a professional sports team has ever had. The numbers looked good on paper from a pure stats perspective when they made the trades, but they way they’ve come together is an absolute best case scenario. Super impressive and props are definitely due to Pelinka.

Two weeks until the series finale for both Succession and Barry, arguably the best two shows on TV. Damn. They both seem to be closing strong, though I haven’t seen last nights eps. Also, Silo had a very strong third episode with a fantastic moment or two. Great stuff.

4 good transfers now, but of course that’s relative to what he had to start with. It’s a good foundation for him to build high school recruiting upon. I guess we’ll see what happens. At least it will be watchable, which will be nice.

This is true. While the US is significantly below world average per capita in terms of automobile deaths, it exceeds the average per capita rate seen in high income countries. I wonder if this is related to the US’ lack of commitment to public transportation in spots as well as how spread out this country is. Then again, a lack of robust public transport may be part of the same problem/selective focus that results in the lack of help for children that need it.

Yes, but many people also died tragically in a car today, which albeit tragic, is actually a universally accepted risk in modern society. As such, I’d like to remind anyone here that’s thinking of advocating for stronger gun control that you must also accept the logically inconsistent, emotionally void and spiritually lacking parody that we need to ban cars as well. As such, these adults and children that were shot while shopping for clothes had already taken a risk in driving to the outlet mall, so they (and/or their parents/guardians) should be completely fine with having their flesh obliterated by bullets fired from a semiautomatic gun in the hands of a lunatic.

I recently re-watched the first three. Damn, they’re good. Part 4 comes out on PVOD in a couple of weeks. I’d really wanted to see it in theaters but haven’t been able to make the time. Sad!
