I’m enjoying watching the Yankees losing to Tampa Bay. It would be glorious to have the Yankees lose the division title.

Just my opinion, but I feel like he constantly makes snide comments about the team/players when calling games.

I know who next year's manager is going to be. I can't tell you who it is, but I have some hints...
He's going to take the starters out too early. He's going to rest everyday players too much. He's going publicly say nice things about players who stink. He's going to be terrible at bullpen management. He's not going to have guys bunt enough. He's going to change the lineup all the time. He's going to refuse to just let young guys play everyday to get experience.

I have to believe Minasian already knows who because of the earlier announcement regarding a full search for a new manager.  I don't think Nevin has done anything to eliminate him from the process if he wants to stay.  By the vision test, players seem to connect with him.  I have no idea how he interacts with Montgomery or the front office.  In my mind, with such a small sample size, he looks like a legit managerial candidate that a team will pursue if the Angels don't.  I do think Nevin will be a manager next year.

i don't know if nevin is the answer, but i like him and would keep him on another year. i can't tell you why, but he reminds me of jim fregosi for some reason.
i don't always agree with him and his usage of players, but i like him a lot more than maddon. considering the injuries and talent he's had to work with, i think nevin has done an acceptable job. i'd sign him for one more year and see how it goes.
i'd also talk with trout and ohtani about how they like playing for him. if ohtani likes him, it could be a positive thing in getting him to sign. if ohtani doesn't like him, it could be a consideration for trying to make him happy enough to stay with the halos.

Under Joe and Perry we had middle infielders regularly playing in the outfield.  To me that was a bigger fail than any analytics.
