  1. Calhoun would be a better option if he learned to hit the ball somewhere else than 2B. The only adjustment it looks like he made was to swing harder. The Angels need a right fielder who can be an offensive asset as well as a defensive asset.
  2. If you root for the Red Sox or the Yankees you are pretty much rooting for ISIS.
  3. I used an entire box of kleenex to clean off the tv after Judge hit his homerun. I wish the announcers would be more in control of their emotions.
  4. Pass. Mileage is too high and injuries becoming too frequent.
  5. Hmmmmm, I wonder who in the organization gets to be in charge of jerking off?
  6. Most good offensive players cost most good money. The Angels only have sorta least good money to spend.
  7. I agree. However, it is the GM who should take care of that issue. I would love Eppler to add people who could take away at bats from Pujols because of how they perform better.
  8. So, you prefer to have the new manager implode the clubhouse because. ..... I want the new manager to figure out how he fits into an existing team structure. This is Albert and Mike's team. The new manager is there to take care of the day to day baseball stuff, not to make a statement.
  9. Just what the Angels need, another player with a history of injuries. I would prefer a good player with some durability for a change. Machado makes sense, but he seems to be having some issues with the outgoing Dodger manager.
  10. ...and the other half is the chance the next manager is no worse. In truth, I worry about the clubhouse when things eventually go bad......Scioscia has demonstrated the ability to maintain a drama-free clubhouse for his entire career. I think the players will miss him.
  11. Let's package Baldoquin and Ward for Diaz. It would be a Dipoto reunion!!
  12. F-ing New GUY!!! Scioscia would have never done that!!!
  13. Aquired Idiotic Dipoto System.
  14. Eppler hasn't quit, even when things did't work out as planned. Dipoto is probably choking his teddy bear right now trying to figure out how to deflect any accountability away from him. Eppler is probably working on how to improve the team without compromising the improved farm system (which he built after Dipoto destroyed). Give me the 2018 Angels with Eppler and a losing record rather than the 2018 winning record Mariners with Dipoto. I predict the Angels pass the Mariners in 2019 and beyond. We will see about the A's......
  15. It is always interesting how people think the Angels have the resources to acquire top of the rotation pitchers. The Angels are not selecting pitchers from the top shelf......look more towards the middle shelves, which is an improvement form the past.
  16. Sure glad the Angels didn't trade for Paula Creamer.
  17. Trout extension should be number 2 right after signing a manager (Scioscia probably). I am guessing that the organization is already working on a solution to the seemingly high number of pitching injuries. Familia would be a good idea. Don't know much about Murphy or Walker (if it was Chico than I'm in!). Eovaldi works, Grandel would be nice. Pass on CarGo, when the Astros no longer want an aging star, the Angels should follow their lead.
  18. Did you notice that pitching consistently negated the offense this year? A team of Babe Ruths would not have mattered. I am also glad the Angels did not waste their farm on Yelich.
  19. I don't see Scioscia making the daily drive from Chatsworth to manage the Phillies.
  20. Who cares about ROY? The most important question to ask regarding a rookie is "Who would you rather have?" Given the options this year, Ohtani wins going away, even with a UCL injury.
