  1. A variety of berries.....and some other stuff......I'm really trying to follow this stream of consciousness so give me a few minutes to put things together.
  2. All I can tell is that fruit seems to be an important conversation topic.
  3. I can't speak to why the Rays use an opener, but the Angels are masking shitty pitchers. I am glad it is working, but I am not convinced it should shape an entire rotation.
  4. The Angels should send Cahill, Harvey and Allen with Tim to the HOF, as parting gifts.
  5. Makes me think that Tropicana paid $19.95 for the naming rights.
  6. I agree.....an opener is masking a shitty pitcher. I think the Angels are serious division and world series contenders with a number 2 and a bunch of number 3's or a staff of number 3's with a lock down bullpen. Canning, Suarez, Ohtani, Heaney and a couple of number 3's would do it. Every trade involving a number 1 seems to cost a king's ransom. The Angels need starting pitching that is consistent and not bipolar. I would jettison Skaggs for some pitching prospects at the deadline when J.C. Rameriz and Middleton begin pitching.
  7. I would rather have a lock down bullpen than a number 1. Lock down bullpens impacts just about every game whereas a number 1 only impacts one game every 5 days.
  8. This is a reminder of when the Angels had a supposedly excellent farm system with Brandon Wood at. al. and we all know how that turned out. I do not understand why he used three players who are currently on the major league roster to evaluate the farm system. It seems to me that when a player plays at the major league level, they are no longer a prospect. I also think that the Angels made the right move in drafting a player who plays a premium position for their number 1. If the Angels keep pumping out Fletcher/Rengifo/Canning/Suarez type players for the next 5 years, their farm system is working just fine.
  9. I think TB is the best team in East, even after the Yankees get healthy. This series gives me the same feelings and thoughts when my doctor checks my prostate.
  10. Call Worthington would make a great deal for Calhoun.
  11. Did he learn how to tell when he is out and when to run?
  12. I am beginning to read these things differently. Last year it was Mookie Betts, this year it is Cody Bellinger and who knows for next year. What is amazing is that each year, only a very few players come close to Trout's performance, with each year bringing a different player.
  13. I wonder how many domestic abuse calls occurred last night.......no joke.
  14. I expect the Angels will be more like American Pickers than active buyers.
  15. Welcome to the Angels!!! Please be another pleasant draft surprise.
  16. Don't blame yourself, it has to be someone else's fault.
  17. Uh Oh, I think they might be on to us.........
