Yeah, most of my frustration this year is players so far off their norms it culminated in a terrible season. But after much time I still think their failures still have to be accounted for and that's on Jerry, unfortunately. Hopefully Arte sees what he had to work with. But it's hard to justify when you see what teams like the A's are doing.

I'd be disappointed if he's fired. I thought he did a good job for being strapped by Arte's big splashes. Some of the high risk moves like Madsen didn't work out and that falls on his plate, but I don't think he has had a fair shake to build a team like a GM should be allowed. You can't build a pitching staff when you're left to only obtain low paid scraps like Blanton and Hansen.

I have a confession to make. I finally set foot in a Fresh and Easy next to me for the first time about a week or two ago. They have this beer there from Wisconsin called Underworld. They have a 8.5% double for $1.99. It's not good, but not too bad to drink. I bought it on a whim thinking it would be terrible at the price point but I'm buzzed for the price of a Ruination. They also do a reg ipa, chocolate stout, and I think a reg pale.....all $1.99. I feel like a black dude admitting he secretly has been drinking Mickeys.
