  1. I already paid for the game at Gamestop. I'll drive by since I'm up. If it looks like a Star Wars premier I'll leave. That West Coast station has some bangers. Heard that a while back and was pleased.
  2. Figures that would come up at some point, and I suppose it deserves its place in the conversation. Podcasts I have listened to have it top 3 to top 10, which is still remarkable. I'm going to wait for the end and then come up with my own opinion. I still don't think anything touches The Wire. I think Mad Men may be closer overall, but the past two seasons of this show are hands down the best TV seasons.
  3. haha. well done. I have a couple right but they seemed obvious to me or I was half right.
  4. Good ones, James started me out with Belgians....I probably still tell people Tremens is my favorite just out of habit. The Mardesous 10 is awesome. If you like those try Mauhler 12, La Fin Du Monde, Cuvee des Trolls, and Leffe.
  5. I'm down to about one game a year at most and the FIFA games if they are more than clones like Madden. I plan to be up late tonight so I called about a midnight release (I'm such a queer and said I'd never do this). They answered the phone with the preemptive midnight message, I'm sure they've been getting this all day, and I asked what is the latest to pick up or a good time to not deal with the line and he said they close when the line is gone and that people are already waiting in line. I can't bring myself to wait in line for anything, but there is a bar next to the shop. I may check out the line, grab a drink or two, then pick it up (my ps3 took a shit a few months back and I bought a new one and paid in full for this game) or try to. I planned on crashing and getting this at 10 when they open anyway. Just surprised they have had people waiting for a while out there. I'd like to pick up at midnight mainly to crash out and let the mandatory upload take place.
  6. Rally, I sent you a pm but I'm getting an error, so here: Someone posted the AMC link in the thread, but if that doesn't work I watch on Couch Tuner. No downloads, viruses, or any wackiness....I even.watch from my phone sometimes. If you Google it the site with BB is the second link and has all the episodes. When you click the one you want it usually takes you to the streaming screen and you'll see the hosts just above the screen....VK, Pitbul, etc. I have found VK to be the best as you just hit play and there is no doubts about viruses, etc. Plus, they seem to have more 720 HD offerings, or at least with Game of Thrones they did. If you click an episode and there is a stream screen with a green play button don't click it as that is spam. Just above the screen outline it says "click here to watch....." this takes you to the paragraph above this. Enjoy. I use the site for many of the shows out. No commercials and earlier to see than we get.
  7. Yeah, I've been to a few heavy duty liquor stores and they are probably the best, I know they are #1 on one of the popular beer websites. They do have a great cold selection. My only gripe is a personal one where their sours are on the shelf.....but like I said personal as most people don't buy it like the Lagunitas or Stone beers.
  8. I forgot to mention I was really into James Toney when he came out and was pumped when he got a shot at Roy Jones Jr. I think the only athlete to have a further fall from grace was Len Bias. Toney had it all then just got fat and lazy.
  9. You bring up an interesting point because many think in one of these final two episodes that they will touch on Grey Matter to wrap up how he became who he is. While that is inferred, when Walt became Heisenberg and started bringing it home and spilled the beans on the career he had pretty much controlled her all show or she has been sort of a victim torn between Walt, kids, family, etc. I don't think she wore the pants as much as Walt is a bitch. The whole show, as Vince Gilligan says he wrote it, was to see what happens when Mr. Chips turns into Scarface. So he is supposed to be a bitch and continually progress into a monster.
  10. I forget the author, but the title coincides with a poem about a king losing everything.
  11. Ha. I had a youth hockey tournament in the 90's and De La Hoya was fighting that weekend. I don't remember why, but we visited the MGM and saw the exact same thing and it's all I think about with regards to the casino.
  12. There were 4-5 season enders in an episode, just brilliant. Same with having Hank and Walt square off right away. I actually don't like the Skyler backlash and the more you think about the show and read she has always been the same emotionally battered wife. It's like people want Walt to run amuck without affecting others or that in him doing so they are assholes. Just watched it again and aside from the writing, I love this show for the little things which seems to happen every episode. When they show the firefighters playing chess one guy moves the king to avoid a checkmate situation....just brilliant. Plenty of new theories and ideas are being thrown around.
  13. Man, I wanted to make a joke about them being NFL fans (which Logan VanVoorhis nails better than I could), but that was painful to see. I guess if you're not a white frat kid then you aren't American. I hope they get blasted by everyone on their Twitter feeds.
  14. Gomez was such a bit part and even non-recurring role that I didn't mind him going out like that. Plus, as someone elsewhere pointed out it makes the critique of everyone missing the episode before moot. I was so caught up in the phone call scene I didn't even think of the underlying circumstances. I also forgot to mention Jesse seeing the pic of Andrea and Brock, what a nightmare of an episode for him. Vince Gilligan said this was the best episode of the whole series for him and I couldn't agree more. I was totally engaged except I laugh every now and then when Flynn talks like an asshole and did the same when the police officer mentioned and started discussing the amber alert.
  15. Yeah, that's the place. I'm about 2 minutes away from there.
  16. Grew up with Tyson and the end of Sugar Ray Leonard. Liked Julio Cesar Chavez the most. No fights really stand out except for two Tyson fights, the dive by Bruce Seldon and that white guy nicknamed Hurricane that Tyson knocked out in something like six seconds.
  17. I held off as I watched it on an earlier feed and think most of them are watching it now. Wow indeed. I knew Hank would get it, but how it happened was intense and then the way it flipped to Jesse was nuts. It would have totally been this shoe to off them both back to back and Walt cleans up in the remaining episodes. I always thought Walt comes back to save Jesse, and ditched the idea because the flash forwards are a year ahead and it didn't make sense with Jesse captured and likely toast. But now with him showing Todd how to cook properly I can see him being around to be saved. Speaking of which, what a nightmare of an episode for Jesse....almost offed and expected to be offed, beaten, and Walt spills the beans on Jane. Just nuts. And while you're digesting that in comes the family dynamic which was too real looking that it was actually painful to watch, all aspects of it. Then the Walt phone call where he is Heisenberg like. Just wow of an episode.
  18. I have Murray on my team. I wanted KC to win but for him to get production.
  19. Naw, he tripped him and got there earlier. I'd rather see a no call there, but it's the NFL.
