  1. That's because he went to Nebraska
  2. He only had 950 yards and 11 tds last year. Richardson wasn't doing anything or taking the Browns anywhere. The league is getting away from running backs.....whether drafting them high or paying them. Peterson will be the last high paid dude for a while. The Colts aren't very good and had a lot of anomaly stuff happen last year to do as well as they did. So Browns add a pick around 10-17. Although, I don't get these teams that constantly throw out first round picks on QBs year after year instead of building around one. Depends what the pick turns into and how Richardson's career goes. He can't make people miss and was getting the rock about 30 times a game to get the yards he did.
  3. I watch Walking Dead, but in the same way I watch Sons of Anarchy. Just kill an hour and hope something cool happens while having no attachments.
  4. Yeah, aside from the poor O, the Chiefs were miserable in turnover +/- last year. The two pointer was a head scratcher. Justin Houston is a boss.
  5. yeah, Smith was a great pick up and a need. 3-0!
  6. Bowe doesn't do well for where he gets picked. He had one year where he killed it and seems to get that love. I too really like the D. Same D as last year but all the three and outs they were on the field way too much.
  7. People here are telling me the Chiefs are legit. It gets my hopes up.
  8. The NFL is such a joke. Not even my usual rules complaint. They have had the technology to improve helmet safety for a few years now but haven't
  9. Torture was ok, just seemed like part of the mission. Still liking it. I have between half and two thirds the missions done with my fair share of doing random things. The map felt kind of small because I could drive everywhere fast, but there is a little side quest deal where someone flies a helicopter at night and looking around it's so damn big. I like the variety and seriousness of the missions. IV did a good job with the realism but the jobs were all about the same. Here it greatly varies and there isn't really any dumb missions like flying some guys RC airplanes in San Andreas. I'll probably finish tomorrow and shoot for 100% where I'm at 53% now.....then play it again! Also, I'll iver down for the online group/ crew dealio with you guys
  10. No, he was originally going to be the main antagonist throughout the show or at least longer. The writers didn't like where the shoe would head that way and essentially killed him off to go in another direction.
  11. Interesting take. I came across someone else mentioning this and don't come across it much as the people here discuss the show well as some of the comment sections of recaps. Everyone seemed to dislike Skyler at some point. I did initially, but it was more how mute and withdrawn the writers made her....which I think is why Vince Gilligan has been outspoken a out her character and seems to take it kind of personal. Which makes sense why he did that. Which is another thing about the writing and how the show progresses and evolves. It's so good and detail oriented you'd think they had this all written out well ahead of time, but they don't and do make these types of inputs. I know Vince has said he listens to the noise so he purposely tries to throw us off or alter expectations. One of the trippy ones I just read about is how Gus was supposed to end up being the main antagonist but halfway through the season the team of writers didn't like him or the direction and almost on the fly rewrote scripts, killed him off, but didn't miss a beat with the show.
  12. An attorney chimed in on the comment section of a recap I read and basically said as much, and it may hold up. The problem is when you have dead law officers the state tends to go after everyone pretty hard, but that is speculation on my part. Also, my point is more in line that she may be exonerated, but there would still be due process which I think for the sake of not boring us they will skip over. I'd have to watch it again, but think I picked out two things that made it not a slam dunk duress situation. The call was more a deflection of responsibility opposed to "I'd kill you if you talked", but who knows. I'm not a lawyer.
  13. Yeah, with the background sound, one of the new implementations is the game has an actual score as well. So when you're on a mission or in high tense situations it kind of kicks in based on the scenario and it's movie like. Really reminiscent of Heat or The Town. Just really adds to e erytjing going on. The more I explore I'm really impressed with the various areas of LA included and how accurate they are. From different districts of LA, the freeway and other signage, to even details like the graffiti placement and the design of the bridges on the freeway that mirror LA. Also, how areas of LA connect to each other from one area to the next. It's really impressive and detailed to its real.life counter part.
  14. I was looking up a beer the other day and somehow came across the ratebeer or beeradvocate top 250. Impressed with how many Alpines are towards the top.
  15. That and with what Walt said in the phone call she is an accessory since she "knew how he made his money".
  16. Picked it up yesterday. Was disappointed with it initially because of the driving and was overwhelmed because everything seems new. But it's legit and worth the hype. Digging the story and now used to the driving. I think what stands out the most is how great it looks and plays, and I've never been the graphic nerd. I also really dig the score/background music they did for the game. There is so much stuff to do.
  17. Yeah, really impressed with the D. Glad we are scoring in the red zone unlike previous years.
  18. Bummer. I did the same thinking Carolina was at home. Would have went with Buffalo at home after how they looked against NE in week 1.
  19. **** it. I'll do one of these team threads. I think there are 3-4 of us here. 2-0 Go Chiefs!
  20. The show takes scope in about a year or just over, not 4. I also don't think Jesse goes after the family. Dude just looks like he wants to die.
  21. Yeah, I think mine said they were out and I said good because the price.
  22. Agreed about Jesse/Walt. I'm probably in the minority, but I didn't like how Hank went out. He's been shot at on the fly, but you aren't that cool and collected when a gun is at your head and you know you're about to die. Speaking of the flashback, Hollywood Forever Cemetery is hosting a finale viewing party with the cast. The gf looked up tix but they were $45 each or something like that to go to a charity. They are showing the pilot then the finale. Place is awesome as I've seen my favorite concert there in Explosions In The Sky and they show flicks and what not there. It would be a cool gig to go to and help out charity, plus they are doing a Q&A after which will be neat. They may be sold out. I am curious why they are showing the pilot before the finale though...maybe looking to much into it.
