  1. I stuck through the 90's, I'm sure I can make it if Trout leaves some how. If he becomes better than Babe Ruth than we have to hear that the rest of our lives. If he becomes another Ken Griffey Jr. that was tracked how Trout is now, then we talk about how cool it was he was here. I can't see us being dumb enough to trade him. We are also a big market club so we should make a reasonable offer to retain him when the time comes.
  2. What are you, a prophet? I think reasonable people see it on both sides and what's vest for each situation to make a long deal work. I don't get this world is going to blow up mentality if he isn't signed after his second year in the league. It makes no sense to up a guys contract exponentially when you have him for six years on the cheap. Plenty of time and room for both sides to workout a deal. It's not do or die this offseason.
  3. Not even sure and I don't usually take the route I did to this Corona park. I think it was called J&B Liqour. It had the curb appeal of El Cerrito, which means they probably have great beers and hard to get Mexican candy.
  4. They should do this at Lake Havasu.
  5. It's funny, driving to the dog park I saw a Ninkasi truck at some dumpy initial based liquor store and laughed that our stadium has Blue Moon and Guinness as the high end or specialty beers.
  6. Hope they get rid of the diarrhea nacho cheese bought from Smart and Final.
  7. I had no idea Romeo Crennel coached for TB
  8. No. Aside from them being pussies I said MLB should suspend players that come out so there is no questionable toughness or character. You obviously don't play hockey. If there is a scuffle on the ice you get involved. If two players are going at it you don't jump on the ice from the bench like a bullpen player does. It's an automatic 10 game suspension like the Sabres/Maple Leafs game the other day. The player is out 10 games, pay, and hurts his team, but is cool in your book.
  9. The article is right, it doesn't behoove either side to do a deal. Trout wants to increase his value, the Angels have a contract, club control, and want to see more than two years on a players resume before throwing out a possible record contract. I don't think anything happens until about arbitration. The idea of a trade is nonsense and just fodder for talk radio and message boards.
  10. Where did I say anything about good or bad teammates? It's a waste of time and they don't do anything when they are on the field. They spend more time walking back to he bullpen than doing anything worthwhile. As I said above just suspend them like they do in the NHL. And maybe you can refresh my memory as any incident I can remember had suspension repercussions. When bullpen players do more than show up late and just stand around the outside of everything then I'll validate sticking up for their team.
  11. Good analogy. Nothing says tough like a brisk jog to the infield followed by standing around the outskirts of a scuffle.
  12. The whole concept of a fight or brawl over looking at a homerun is beyond stupid. You don't see NFL players or NBA players fighting because of celebrations or end zone dances. This "unwritten rule" of staring down homeruns is stupid as is beaming someone for hitting a bomb off you. As for the bullpen, suspend the players like the NHL and NBA if they leave the bench. Obviously dugout players are fine as it's one player versus nine, but the bullpen players just convulute the situation and their presence isn't needed.
  13. One of the gayest things in sports is when the bullpen runs in the field.
  14. that's a good one and similar. I think that's the one that gave me t-rex arms. good to crush at the gym, not.good to not be able to bend your arms for five days. I love drop sets and do the same thing. after you mentioned Body For Life I read it on a plane and actually love the beginner workout program they have that is all major muscle groups. I do it all the time and always when I jump back in the gym after a layoff but throw in the drop set as the final set. thanks again for that rec. Actually, most of the stuff we were doing was burnouts with sets. I need bro get back there.
  15. Killer man. I loved the efficiency of it. I can't believe how many calories you can burn in such a short time. It's about 27-30 minutes.
  16. One I liked for a bench circuit is basically constant drop sets. Start with a weight and incrementaly taking off weight to where you are left with just the bar. I loved the looks when someone looks at just the bar portion and sees us struggling with a 45 pound bar not knowing what just happened. Those were fun. Just burning out reps.
