I still remember my dad taking me to my first NHL hockey game at the old Montreal Forum when I was around eight. And my mom taking me to my first pro football game (CFL) when I was nine. My first MLB in person game was the very first Expos game at Jarry Park when I was in high school and a few pals and I skipped classes for the game. 
I still have the ticket stub. With autographs from three original Expos. Bill Stoneman, John Bocabella and Rusty Staub.

Yep. He's definitely a candidate to get promoted this season if he keeps it up. 
.278/.403/.444 with 2 HR and a team leading 10 stolen bases. Who thought he would have more SB a few weeks in over Nelson Rada?
Even better. He's only committed two errors in 14 games, 46 total chances. I've heard he's made some really nice plays at the hot corner too. 

This team is not undisciplined, it is inexperienced.  Key young players here with little minor league experience.  They are trying to learn on the go, and the coaching staff is appropriate for the job.  I think many of you are used to seeing free agents filter in to the team over the years.  Unfortunately many of those guys failed.  We have not even finished the first month of a six month season.  Many of you wanted to rebuild, this is what happens as you do so.  Mistakes are going to happen.

Pitching fixes many things and we aint got it. Haven't had a good pitching staff for many years, Arte. For starters, Arte, get off your high horse and get Bauer, you idiot.

Thanks, Tom, for posting this. Lost in all of griping is this young crew is learning to play together as a team and not a bunch of individuals making individual plays. This is, as you say, what a rebuild looks like. I'm not enjoying the losing but definitely enjoy watching the kids play and learn.

it's been the same bs past 3 years. Rendon goes down and these mental midgets break down. it's been the same bs past 3 years; Rendon goes down, teams 7 to 8 straight, trout follows and than the rest. 
 
 

Does anybody on here REALLY think it actually matters who the GM is? We've had, what, 4-5 GMs in the last decade or so? And this team has continued its downward spiral. 
 
What is the common denominator?
 

Sure, teams like Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs, Mets, Giants.  But how many of today's 39,000 were Twins fans?  I doubt very many.  And anybody who actually bought an advanced ticket to see a Sunday afternoon game against the Twins, is a bit of a moron.  You could probably get one for less than 25% of face value on the resale market.  And that's because SSH would rather talk a giant hit, than waste their time driving to the stadium, paying for parking and concessions, when they can watch the Angels get destroyed from the comfort of their couch.
I wonder how many of the Season Seat Holders have had their seats for 20+ years.  The fear of losing that seniority is a strong motivator to keep their plan in place.  Anyone else is showing real dedication to the franchise, it's ownership, management, and players..  I mean, really, what NEW Season Seat Holders are they getting?  Are there people out there actually willing to spend Thousands of $$$$$ to see this team play 81 games in person?

When he makes a bad play, it's so bad that it really stands out.  Overall though, he's good enough to be out there.  He's never going to be great because he's really not all that coordinated as odd as that sounds.  Reminds me of Upton in a way where he'd just fly to a ball getting to places that others couldn't but when it came time to move his hands and arms in a way to catch the ball it looked like he just got them.  
The awkwardness is never going to fully go away.  But he's fine and this team should have it's focus on improving in way more spots.  He needs to play every.single.day for the rest of the year.  

Even when the Astros get their karma, we still manage to screw up.  There's a thing called talent.  They don't have it.

Scouting SUCKS. 
Development SUCKS.
Player acquisition SUCKS.
Players Attitudes SUCK.
PITCHING SUCKS.
They really need to sell the team and start from scratch with all new employees. Just clean house and start fresh. Grab some front office and scouts from successful organizations. How do other teams draft, recruit, and develope quality pitchers year after year? Some decades after decades. Angels are 5 year minimum away from the play offs and that's if everything went perfect. 
Hicks is a perfect example of poor judgement. Who really thought he had any value. Fire that guy first because he has zero talent when it comes to evaluating players value. Mistake will happen but we aquire other teams mistakes.

This doesn't make sense. It's his first call up and you know he had a lot of nerves coming into it so he gets a pass for sure. He didn't even pitch that bad as his defense messed it up for him. 

16Ks, 9BBs. Fine by me. The strikeouts aren't great but as long as he's walking it's a small issue IMO.

This team has the worst relief pitching scouting and development maybe in baseball history. I don't think what you're saying is possible.
