    Was he really that bad? Balll 4 to Brantley in the first should have been strike 3 inning over. Could he be better? Yeah, obviously. But this start against the Astros wasn't as bad as some of his previous ones. The game looks a lot different if we aren't chasing 5 after 2.5 innings.

    I was expecting Rengifo to be sent down for SImmons and have Tovar as the backup IF. I like Rengifo a lot, but think he should be playing everyday, either here or in Salt Lake. This leaves, what, Garneau, Goodwin, and Bour on the bench? We'll probably activate Simmons tomorrow and send down Barria.

    I agree. Getting Middleton back will also help the bullpen. I was wondering if Cahill and/or Harvey could be a long reliever or just get any type of value from them in the pen.
