At this point, I'm more of a Trout fan than an Angels fan. I don't care about 95% of this roster. Basically Trout and Calhoun. Bout sums it up.

I got tickets for tomorrow's game. Looking forward to it. 

99 of that 99.9 was achieved in STL.

At the pace he's going, he probably wont be above 90 for much longer.

He's at 90.9 via Fangraphs, 9.1 as an Angels. He probably won't get to 100 fWAR

The thing is, if he continues to play, he may actually lose WAR at some point in his career.

I might be the biggest homer here and I can't argue against that

I was at the gym the first week or maybe second of the season. When harper was red hot and trput was cold. The tv at the vym was on either espn or mlb, and the talking heads on it were all in agreement that trouts very good, but harper is rhe one you build a team around.
 
Personally, i think harper is a beast, and he may end up having the better career, who knows. But i kind if got the same feeling as passan here, that people are almost kind of aleeping on how good trout is.
The sad reality is that if he was on a better team hed get noticed more i think. Diehard like us know all the good players, but the public as a whole probably lump him in with "that guys really good", not "that guys got a chance to be a top 10 player of all time"

Don't take it personally - Blarg does this to various people, depending upon who he's upset with at the time. He's just grumpy.

I'm not so sure about a blowout. The Pirates pitching staff has given up just as many runs per game as we have. However they have certainly scored more runs so yeah that's something to worry about.

We are watching Hank Aaron with speed.  Mantle from the right side.  Mays at his peak.  Mike Trout is a one of a kind talent.
