Eating it, that is. Just something disgusting and distrustful about it. Now they have it in salads, burritos, sandwiches, and even pizza. Yeccchhh!!! What's the matter with people? There are 2 exceptions however- I do like orange chicken from good Asian restaurants like Panda Express. That stuff's pretty good. And I like chicken flavored Cup O' Noodles. I read the ingredients, and one of them is "chicken powder". I prefer my chicken powdered. But that's pretty much it.

I, too, will be attenting the Sabbath LA show. Absolutely cannot wait. Tony Iommi must be feeling a lot better for them to have added so many shows. Good. Iommi has always had the best low E (actually D#) in the business. Looking forward to that grinding roar blasting out of those Laney cabinets. I hear Ozzy is relapsing. Hopefully this makes for a better show as well.

I imagine the Angels will have a moment of silence before the game tomorrow. Well deserved, if they do.

In a season of misery and horror, Trout was a star shining bright last night. Very pleased I ended up going to this game. Everything fell into place for us, a rare occurrence. Outstanding performance by Jerome. But Trout stole the show, in a big way.

It ain't only you. I have given my pain a name, and it is the Angels. They have tormented me for several years now. But this year has brought a special hell, to be sure. I am a regular here, reading the thoughts and views of most of you folks. I have read your bickering with one another, and various border skirmishes, the inevitable result of sustained losing, which now seems as sure as death and taxes. I have read your autopsy findings and who you point fingers at. And while there is blame that runneth over for many, I have carefully diagnosed the real problem- me. I'm emotionally invested. I'm an addict. I live and die with this stinking team every bloody day. Yes I have other interests, like cards, hot Asian women, jousting, seeing Black Sabbath in September, good Mexican food, among them. I have used some of these to help me emotionally detach from our nightly scoreboard misery. But to no avail. They're too big a part of who I am, and ain't nuthin' I can do about it. The sick part is, I woudn't change that even if I could. The success of the team in the 2000's raised the bar considerably for many of us longtimers who suffered through the first 4 decades. And with higher expectation comes greater disappointment. And that's me. I love them, but I hate them. So how have they changed baseball for me this year? Well, they've made me hate it, and hate them. But I'm stuck with these pathetic vastly underachieving pigs. The best I can do is read some of your venom-spewing tirades, and various gallows humor comments. These help me to avoid breaking furniture, or scraping razor blades along my arms like a teenage girl with low self-esteem, when Hamilton strikes out with runners at 2nd and 3rd and two outs. Thanks for the therapy, AW. It does help a little, like reading the Bible when you're on death row.

I appreciate your stance. And I wish I could do this. However, it's impossible for me to ignore the crap when I am focused on the games because the games themselves feature crap, reflected in the final scores. Also, I'd love to be able to turn the page, but they won't let me. The next page reads exactly like the previous one, 22 times now. We ARE re-living it over and over, night after night, like a tormenting baseball version of Groundhog Day. I wish they would stop torturing me and many of you.

The horror won't stop. This team's record is an absolute disgrace. Bad pitching is one thing, but 11-21??? Really? A team that has Trout, Albert, and Hamilton is 11-21? How is that possible? Getting beat by Houston flops us lower than whale shit.

Tin, do you like the draft? Fluker is an excellent pickup. And besides protection, Rivers has been devoid of any weapons the last few years, and the Keenan Allen pick should definitely help that. I don't know about Manti Teo. Pretty slow, but he does appear motivated. We'll see. Decent draft, but Bolts are still re-building. Be lucky to go 8-8 this year. I'd take that.

Team looks dead right now. No spark. No sense of urgency. Like they're mailing it in. A little early to be playing out the string in April. Manny, the greatest quitter in baseball history, would be proud. Maybe we should sign him. But as disgusted and pissed off as I am, I can't bring myself to give up on these guys yet. Can't do it.

I'm very suspicious of the result in this thing. The winner has two first names.

Chokeland is playing some damn good baseball. They're not f'ing around. They're hardnosed and aggressive. And they capitalized on every mistake we made. They look like the '02 Angels.

All in all, a pretty good throwdown. I enjoyed it. Much more entertaining than anything the Angels are doing...

So basically, this is yet another prediction thread. What's the point? I do not understand people's fascination with attempting to predict the future. Perhaps you guys should invest your money in psychics or palm readers.
