I agree with this, as long as we're talking about the same thing. If we're talking about all the guys thrown out at the plate I agree. If we're talking about all the outs where a guy scores but someone is thrown out at second or third redirecting the throw that would have gone home then we would disagree.

I have no idea if they would have resigned Hunter had he still been available after Greinke signed with the Dodgers, but I can tell you Hunter was one of the first guys to sign that off season, well before Greinke. I can also tell you that most people here thought his 2 year $26 million deal with the Tigers was an over pay.

He didn't. He chose Greinke over Hunter, then Greinke chose the Dodgers over the Angels, at that point Hunter had chosen the Tigers, so Arte chose to spend the Greinke money on Hamilton.

I've flown I don't know how many times but I'm Guessing 75-100 times and I've never once seen anyone get harassed by a TSA. I've seen people get questioned and I've seen them respond to rude people respectfully.

I'm sure you're an absolute joy to serve at the airport. Like many others have said I've never had a bad experience. I think I shared this story in the thread about my dad passing away. But we were flying him home last year to come live here in So Cal and he had stuff in his bag that he wasn't allowed to have like a letter opener. The TSA agents were incredibly helpful and respectful to my dad it was unbelievable.

Wasn't there one called Stop or my Mom will Shoot? Something like that.

Yea I like Felix better too but if you have to give up Bryant or the SS, his name escapes me, or Shwarmer. They might be a better team with all those bats and a guy that's really good but not as good as Felix.

Since trades in baseball are almost always high price talent for unproven talent or young cost controlled talent I would think Felix's market is unclear until after Greinke, Price and Cueto sign. If you can afford to trade for Felix then you can probably afford to sign one of those three and not have to give up talent to get them. I think Price will be a Dodger, not sure where the other two will go. I also don't know if Felix has a no trade clause that would affect his value.

I can see it being a demotion but it's a different kind of business. He just may want to be in the game but on the field. I'm sure he could have gotten an offer to be an advisor or scout.

Oh and I don't care who wins the Series, I just want a good series.

I don't like Ventura but have no issues with the Royals Fans or their other players. So they beat us last year, big deal, they were playing near perfect defense, enough offense and a great pen last year.

HB I highly doubt you can possibly enlighten me. I'm a grown up with my own opinions that are pretty damn consistent. I don't look at situations and say "good guy, bad guy". I don't need to place blame on any one individual. I think Jerry, Arte and Mike have all made errors in judgement.
