    Baseball is weird, and it was a hard hit ball that usually goes for a double but the center fielder was shading him that way. Doesnt change the fact he needs to go ASAP.

    We have spoken for years how the Angels need to poise themselves to be competitive and on the rise from 2018-2020 to show Trout he should stay. If this franchise is still spinning its wheels with mediocre talent around him why would he want to stay? I would be devastated but I would understand.

    Trading 4 prospects for an OF that the cellar dwelling Mets are about to demote and pinch hit for in the 9th yesterday would be I’ll advised, in my opinion. Especially when the farm is finally solid again.

    The only thing I can think of is that our OF depth is kind of thin and he can play all 3 OF spots if needed.

    Exactly, I’m down to add a vet that won’t cost much on the trade market. Maybe somebody like Dietrich? Conforto has been awful this season, I’m surprised Scotty is willing to give up that haul of prospects for a player with major question marks.

    That Andrew Romone trade for Alvarez way back when was a decent trade in the long run. He’s been a solid bullpen arm for us and being a lefty makes him more valuable.

    We are going on need Garrett Richards to step up big time, Skaggs, Heaney, Tropeano, and Barria to keep up what they have been doing. Also the bullpen needs to step up and quit losing winnable games we also need Kinsler to continue to hit, Pujols to find the fountain of youth, and a RF that can hit.
