I think you guys are underestimating what it will cost to get Herrera or Hand. We all know how expensive relief pitching is during the season and the Astros are going to be looking to make some additions as well, driving up the price.

But it is something I have noticed as a pattern with the Angels that they don’t do the little things like hit with runners in scoring position and literally everything has changed in my time watching this team from coaches, front office, and players yet the same manager and issues remain

Lol whatever dude. I’m speaking facts that you are finding an issue with for whatever reason. You follow every post I make and have something to say about it. I went through and looked up how they have hit with runners in scoring positions: since 2012 they have been top 10 in hitting with runners in scoring position 1 time... 2014. The same season we went to the playoffs. Every other years we been middle of the pack. But I assume it has nothing to do with the manager of the club.

Do they continue to let games slip away like this or do they get some better relievers here now? I can guarantee it is going to end up costing us at the end of the year

I would rather see Ohtani start every 5th or 6th day rather than sit down in the bullpen and may or may not pitch. That doesn’t keep him on any sort of schedule and he has never been a reliever in his life. You don’t throw him into an unknown situation with everything else he has to adapt to
