The 1-8 with runners in scoring position had nothing to do with it... The bullpen is an issue yes but the pitching is constantly pitching in a close or tie game, this offense relies way too much on the long ball to succeed.

Scisocia leaves him in after a single, walk, and a hit by pitch on a 0-2 pitch.. how is that on eppler?

We have replacements playing well in AAA at second base, right field, and 1B with Thaiss hitting well (Pujols and Valbuena replacement if the Angels were willing to do it) the bullpen on the other hand is screwed

We have people who can replace almost everyone dead spot on the roster, The Angels have shown an unwillingness to. it is not a lack of talent

Have to hope for a split with the tigers... This team is a mess, revamp the bullpen, give Pujols a lesser role, and DFA Kinsler.

I’d be willing to put together a little package for Suarez to play 3rd and some of their bullpen guys like Hernandez and Jared Hughes. It would probably be an expensive trade prospect wise though. Suarez has an OPS of .947 and he’s only 26, and Hughes has a long track record of being a solid reliever.

Lol at this pace this team is going to be sellers by the all star break. I’ll say it again and again, this team does not play fundamentally sound baseball. They make stupid errors, bad baserunning plays, don’t hit with RISP, don’t situational hit, bad bullpen, pitchers are constantly falling behind in the count. Can’t wait for the meaningless “closed door meeting” only to pencil Kole and Kinsler and Valbuena into the lineup the following day and keep wondering why the offense is struggling.

Didn’t he throw close to 115 pitches his last outing? I don’t like this but I understand it with all the pitching injuries.

Damn Eugenio Suarez hit a grand slam today, OPS of .938 so far this year. Too bad we couldn’t swing a trade and plug him at 3rd and move Cozart to 2nd
