Yeah I don’t get that comment, Middleton didn’t even do anything out of the ordinary. Maldonado was set up low and away and the pitch was up near the batter’s eye level. I think that’s why Maldonado called out the trainer, Middleton had no idea where the ball was going and his velocity was down a couple of other fastballs. Regardless it has Tommy John written all over it, that is exactly how Skaggs left the game before they announced he needed Tommy John in ‘14.

What are you guys willing to part with prospect wise for bullpen help? If it’s Hermosillo and Jahmai Jones for a rental closer like Herrera is it worth it? Unless Eppler can get some talent back without shedding top 10 prospects, I’m not so sure how we can get better right now.

We want a SMART hook, if a starter is cruising let him be, if a reliever comes out and looks like crap then you have a quick hook you don’t wait until the go ahead run is on 1st with 1 out.

Anderson isn’t the answer, Johnson is Facking garbage, and Scioscia sobotaged this game. Wow I’m in disbelief of what went down in the 9th. almost as bad as the loss in the Mariners series, do something about the bullpen yesterday .... there is no excuse for this
