  1. Fixed. but seriously he has solid numbers but he needs to step up big time and pitch like an ace if this team Is to compete.
  2. F*ck you for making me laugh in the middle of the world ending
  3. Change thread title to: Should we trade our top talent for top prospects ?
  4. I don’t think we could have gotten much worse news than this
  5. DL Trip for a blister? Fook me... whatever, if it gives it time to heal properly so it can stop reoccurring than we gotta do what we gotta do. We have the SP depth right now and Cowart and Marte can cover 3rd with Valbuena and Pujols covering 1st/DH. Just need to call someone up to round out the bench
  6. The NFL is weird with the salary cap, they cut good, tenured players that have been with a franchise for a long time when they are still in their prime. I don’t always understand the roster decisions. And the money isn’t guaranteed Admittedly I don’t follow football the way I follow MLB so I could be off base
  7. Pretty smart when you think about it, it keeps him in game routine but it doesn’t overextend his innings this year saving him for the stretch run. Kind of of a waste to have him throw minor league pitches if he doesn’t need to in order to stay sharp.
  8. Dietrich from Miami would be a solid addition to RF that could slide into a 4th OF role when Calhoun returns. Solid track record with a .786 OPS this year, could cover the leadoff spot. Just a thought
  9. Damn imagine what the Mets could get back for Syndergard... that’s the kind of guy you empty the farm for, although his health history is concerning.
  10. Because of the money involved I would say Marte but he really has hit pretty decently this season so would JMF really make a difference? When you think about it, it’s understandable why the Angels haven’t made any changes to the offense yet, as frustrating as having a streaky offense is...
  11. Valbuena and Marte are essentially the same player.. 1B/3B with good power but big holes in their swings with lots of k’s and mediocre defense. Why do we need two of these on the roster is my question ? Seems redundant and why not let Fernandez get a fair shot instead of these two?
  12. I think that’s what he isn’t understanding... we don’t have the bullpen arms. Anderson has actually been quite a godsend for this bullpen this year
  13. The point everyone is making that we know we have major bullpen issues but we won tonight so save the bitching for another time. If they had blown the lead and we lost then yeah you could go ahead and vent... getting frustrated with something during a win is cool I get it.. but literally everyone on this board knows what you are saying and we won... so let it go.
  14. Solid pace for this club with a disasterous bullpen, losing our closer to TJS, getting basically zero production out of RF, limited production out of 3B,2B, and 1B. If we make some tweaks to the offense to get it rolling and add to the bullpen we may have a shot at the playoffs.
  15. I just really dislike Dipoto so seeing the M’s succeed is kinda annoying. I know it’s only a matter of time until that organization is a mess and he’s getting run out of town, though.
  16. No excuse for walking back to back hitters up 3 in the 8th. A solo shot doesn’t hurt you much, free base runners creates rallies
  17. Yeah I keep hoping for it to round into at least decent form but it makes every single game interesting
  18. Not at all, he’s another one that has CJ Wilson disease.
