Marsh 1 for 1 in his last 1 at-bat.

We will most likely have a young rotation next year with Sandoval, Detmers and maybe Suarez/Barría. I think a 2/22 or 3/30 for Cobbs veteran presence makes a lot of sense. His ERA is behind adv statistics such as FIP and at worst we need him to be a 3/4 starter for next year.

Good, bring up the better lefty, Detmers and let’s see what he has.

Suzuki is so far off my radar. What are you going to get for him, a cracked fungo bat?
Addition by subtraction.

Why would we send Lagares down over someone like Wong ? We have Mayfield/Gosselin/Rengifo for backup..
-
Glad to see some success but half of Adell’s homers I’ve seen clips on seem like extremely high fly balls in a lower altitude or smaller ballpark
-
I’d like Ward to have another shot. He played well toward the end of last year and had a very solid spring. I also prefer Ward spot starts at 1st and 3rd over Rojas.

Why would Pujols hit higher than Upton or even Iglesias?
-
We’re trying to be competitive in 19’, why are people suggesting a trade of Calhoun? Clearly he’s figured out his issues and then some. The guy has been hitting like a MOTO type of guy and we’ll need that and his defense in right field.
Im all for the Adell hype but let’s let him develop and get promoted when he’s ready and not a minute sooner.

The silver lining in the midst of a frustrating season (Ohtani injury, the BP and our FA signings not panning out) is Mike Trout and following our farm system.
This thread is my most checked page on my entire forum and it's not even close.
First thread I look at for new posts!
I’d like them to keep Canning in double-a a bit longer. With the lack of hits & walks he’s giving up he’s barely getting through the order 2 times! Let’s see how he does once he’s stretched out to 100 pitches.

The sad thing is this is just a normal year for Valbuena. He is hitting .224 this year. His lifetime BA is .228.
Everyone knew what Valbuena was before this season except he stopped taking walks and replaced them with more strikeouts.
Im all for Blash getting an extended look but im wary of that leg kick and him being able to adjust to ML pitching. It certainly can’t get any worse than what’s being rolled out now.

Anyone would like the see the bottom guy race Pujols to first? Who do you think would win?
Not gonna lie, before zooming in on the face I thought that was Fatolo Colon.

If we’re gonna give credit to Scioscia shouldn’t we give credit to Maddon, Roenicke and Bud Black?

Thaiss has had a nice increase in his power so far in Double-A. Seeing some more balls leave the field could help reinforce some of the changes in his swing, more than showing the powers to be he is ready.
The increase in counting stats could also help increase his trade value for an ASB deal for a starting pitcher.

I think it’s finally time.

Adell already has 2 homers tonight. The farm is really clicking at all levels.
-
Looking at these stats really show how Fletcher has been doing amazing. They also show that Hermosillo is striking out over 33% of the time and would get eaten up if called up right now. I bet we see Ackley soon....

Hermosillo also hit for a cycle, wouldn’t mind giving him a cup of coffee.

Hunter 2/4 today up to 257
Rivas 2/4
Marsh 3/4
2 out of those 3 hits for Marsh are homeruns.

If it meant freeing up his salary and an outfield spot, yes absolutely. Gives us more flexibility to bring in a legit front of the rotation pitcher.
