I’m sure it’s been shared below but what’s Kyle Tyler’s stuff play like?  Is he a starter or reliever?

At least we know we won’t have to hold a 40man spot in the off-season for this garbage. 

Leave it to the Angels to score 8 runs by the 6th and still be down. 

Let’s bring up Marte and see what he has for next year. 

His curve is beautiful but I’m quite surprised in how well his slider seems to be working.  Next step is to improve on that change-up and ride his fastball lower in the zone. 

Adell seems to have learned how to shorten up and make contact.  Much more controlled than last year. 

Detmers pitching a solid game.  He seems to have better control of his breaking pitches within the strike zone, than his fastball.  When they don’t break, they get hit. 

Does Stefanic have to be added to the 40man roster or risk being exposed to rule5 next year?  Just like Marsh,  this is a good opportunity to see if he can be starter or at least a viable backup for next year.

Fixing his hip certainly couldn’t lead to worse production.  Right?  Right? 

If it means we could keep Trout healthier during the back half of his career, I’d rather keep Marsh and not trade him.  He might not be hitting now but he brings value on defense and despite his average has a 13% BB rate.  
 

Adell looks to have improved his defense overall (low bar) but cannot play center.  
 

If something like Adams and Jackson gets us Meyer, then sure, but I believe it would take quite a bit more. 

Our cleanup hitter and noodle arm Eaton letting Suarez down.  

I’m glad we don’t have a shot at the wild card and can give him through the end of this year and start of next year to work on that 3rd pitch.

I’d rather us play the young guys and see what we have.  Doing so we might naturally end up with a worse record than the clubs around .500.

No, unless they are serious about getting him reps as a catcher in Triple-A to backup Stassi next year. 

I’d rather see what Wantz can do as they both are RH that can go multiple innings.

Agreed, hard to see it but a much better start than his first against the A’s. 

Detmers line is horrible and he needs to work on his fastball command but our defense let him down today. 
 

I think he’s solid and appreciate the less corny broadcast than earlier in the year with Sutton. 

Kyren Paris back and goes 2 for 4 with his first homerun of the year.  

Really thinking Warren has carved himself a spot in the pen next year.  Love the movement on his pitches.

Canning has diminished trade value right now. He was demoted to AAA. Had one start with SLC, gave up 6 runs in 2 innings and moved to the IL 3 weeks ago with a lower back strain.

Agreed on Canning and his value being low.  Not an ideal time to trade him but that’s why I included sending some other prospect value.  

While Upton might have a no-trade clause, he’s already been told he’ll be platooning through the end of the year.  He’s getting paid either way and might want to showcase he has something left before his last potential contract.  
 

Even if all we can offset is half of Uptons salary (28M) I think it’s worth exploring to shore up the rotation/bullpen.

Upside doesn’t mean $hit in 2022, which is what we’re talking about.  If you give me a choice, I’d rather have Stroman / Gausman / Syndegaard then Canning & Upton next year.

What part of it is sad ?  It’s about resource management and even if Adell or Marsh aren’t the answer I’d rather use those resources on pitching, rotation or bullpen.
