    Well for me it's radio. There's a Dodgers affiliate in Fresno. There's an Angels affiliate in... Chino Hills. (under correct atmospheric conditions I can pick up 830 in my car, but only around sunset, and only if I'm in the south-facing hills). No contest.

    With the game on the line, in the 7th inning, we pinch hit for our cleanup hitter. That sums up the season right there.

    Oh, I believe he's being tested very regularly. It makes me wonder what he's found that the test can't find. At his age and with his history, the null hypothesis just doesn't seem credible.

    At this point, Green is the guy you send in to play second in the 15th inning, after you pinch hit for Jackson (who was only playing because you pinch hit for Featherston in the 8th). When we officially go into SLC West mode, he'll become the guy you send in to pinch run for Cron in the 8th, maybe leave him in playing first.

    The difference between a 98 win team and a 78 win team is only three games a month where you win instead of lose. That's extra game a month blown by the arsonists in the bullpen, one extra game a month blown by the awful clowns we've had in left field all year, and one game a month Howie or Iannetta would have won for us last year when they were here (physically, or at least skill-wise in the latter case).

    I'd say they win 77. Plenty of meaningless games last couple weeks of the season.
