Oh trust me, I really mean it.

If something magical happens to Crin's bat and glove as a result of this thread I'll take it tho.

Cron is drawing more walks this year. His OBP is almost respectable, and his average has been trending up since his terrible April. He seems to have a slightly different plate approach that is leading to more walks and in the long-run a probably a better average, but it is coming at the expense of power. Seeing a lot of singles to right this year instead of gap doubles or home runs.

At 1B with a bad glove or DH, he's a 0.5 WAR guy. Disappointing.

Right now, I would entertain offers on everyone but Trout and Calhoun...Simmons is questionable.

Escobar, Soto, Smith, Street, Wilson by August 1, if he his healthy and can be moved.

Why are you excluding Calhoun? Santiago, Calhoun, and Simmons are the only valuable trade pieces left at this point. Calhoun is really the one with the combination of salary controlled years and production during his prime to bring back something worthwhile.

First Skaggs, Then Heany, Now Richards. Coincidence? Or does this problem lie within the training staff and their approach with young pitchers?

Do you have any data besides the fact that the three are on the Angels' roster? Do you think the Angels' training staff approach blows out UCL's in 100 innings flat?

    • Skaggs spent significant time in the Diamondbacks system before his injury in his first season on the Angels MLB roster (113 innings pitched with Angels.)
    • Heaney is a product of the Marlin's farm system (111.2 innings pitched with Angels.)

    Your supposition seems unfounded.

  4. i know Choi was a rule 5 pick, but can they try to slip him through waivers and place him in salt lake or does he have to go back to the team they got him from?

Even if he clears waivers, he has to be offered back to his original team.

  5. Dollar for dollar, Nava/Gentry is a hall of famer so far in 2016, compared with Heyward.

Well, maybe not hall of famer, but Nava/Gentry is giving more bang for the bucks.

    Reawakens memories of Lowenstein/Roenicke.

    Nava/Gentry will never be a Cowart/Kubitza though.
