Randy Gradishar reacted to Blarg in Gameday Thread: Angels vs. Twins (5/13/2018) No Trout
Are you kidding? That was beautiful.
Suspense, drama, a runner gunned down at the plate. Kole's sub getting on base and a perfect bunt by Maldonado to set up the winning line drive!
That was awesome!
This is what baseball games should be like, with the game on the line going into the 9th. It gets the blood flowing, a blow out you can shut off. This, you better not have.

Anything can happen in one game though. I just don't see this roster having enough horses to keep pace with the Astros as the season goes on.

Reds complete 4-game series sweep at the Latrine.

This looks like a team that may scratch out a second wild card, then get destroyed in New York or Boston in the play-in game.

The first two weeks sure were fun. Now it’s back to typical mediocrity. Boston and New York let all the air out of our sails.

He's currently at 0.2. A far cry from being right and yet still closer than any of your predictions.... Glass houses dude....

You would rather he stare at strike one center plate?
Why?

he hit the ball hard.

Come on, he hit that hard. If that same hit goes gap it's game over. You can't expect a hitter to be able to aim where the ball goes.

I have no problem with Albert seeing a good pitch to hit and smacking a long line drive. Waiting doesn't do any good when the umpire likes 3" outside for a strike.

First timer here been a die hard angels fan forever. Just want to say another bullpen blunder. And I think it's time to move on from Scioscia.

Never understood the need to assign blame for stuff. If you lose 4 out of every 10 games, you win 97 on the season. Good stuff happens, bad stuff happens. They had a chance to win it in the end and just missed - if you can say that after every game, you're going to have a good year.
