    All the more to appreciate the loyalty of Weaver, Trout and Salmon. That was the point of the post. Not to bash Ohtani but to comment on loyalty.

    For the most part well said. I agree completely on Trout, Weaver, and Salmon. Maybe a little harsh on Ohtani "being disloyal". But we should really appreciate true loyalty of the other three.

    I was at acceptance 2 months ago. Glad its over. Glad we didnt pay 70 million for 10 years. Pissed we didnt trade him but that anger was back in July.

    KRod deserves to be in. He is 4th in career saves and holds the single season record. Every reliever with more saves is already in Hall. War, ERA+ similiar to Wagner. But Krod holds a record.

    Analytics have great benefit, but you can't treat it like a religion. The players have to have confidence in it. As stated by Loup, they didn't. I am suspicious this is why just about every pitcher took a step back in 2023 from their 2022 performance.

    Remember those same pitchers who struggled last year did well the year before with veteran catchers. I am not positive but it seemed like they did better under OHoppe as well.

    Its not so much i think its a bad move. Its disappointment. I was hoping the kid would make it as am Angel. However, I am not going to say "fire whoever" by letting him go. The wuestion is who we are keeping on the 40 man that shouldn't be there?
