God Damnit!!!!! Fir several years we get ona streak. Lead our division and then we start hearing. "This team is different" "this team is special". Then we go on and get crushed with injuries. Don't jinx us!!! In case people do not know, that is sarcasm.

So try to compete when its clear we are incapable to. And destroy opportunities to see who can help us in the future. BTW the teams activities in off season contradict your view.

That is your view. I do not believe that is the view of the front office bevause they could have easily signed another quality pitcher for help get into the playoffs. They decided to stay put which is fine. But they should be playing Adell and Moniak.

Why is Sano DHing?

You know as well as anyone its hard to get a rhythm on hitting playing once a week. If Sano or Hicks makes this a playoff team then its a smart move. However, they don't move the needle on our playoff standing. Show we should give consistent playing time to people who can help us in the future.

If we are playing "the being optimistic game", it is just as conceivable that Moniak and Adell out produce Sano and Hicks and make the playoffs Than hoping for big bounceback years from Sano and Hicks and makes the playoffs. IMO our chances of making the playoffs are the same this year.

Best case scenario, Sano has a great year but it wont be good enough to make an impact on the standings. Best case for Adell, is that he gets consistent playing for for first time since in years and has a chance for a breakout. Worst case for Adell, he is proven a bust and it still doesnt effect the standings

According to article, Artie wasnt intetested in negotiating in the offseason before his last year. Did I misread that?

Trout out, rendon out, Neto out, and Drury out. He should have been traded. According to the articke, Artie made the decision not to extend him early. Which means he should have been traded the year before.
