    If you can't run over them, then the catcher shouldn't block the plate even when he has the ball

    why should the runner be at a disadvantage by taking two extra steps in order to get around a catcher? If the catcher is blocking the plate, run the sob over! This seems like another example of the woosification of america. We don't want anyone hurt, but hell, if the guy wants to block the plate...it should be fair game.

    I can't see how any true professional will get "messed" up because his spot in the batting lineup may fluctate. However, i can see how your batting could be messed up if your playing time and at bats are limited! Going to the game and knowing you are going to bat means you have to metally prepare. However, going to the game and not knowing if your batting or not could mess with your heads.

    I am also predicting that Bourjos plays like he did in 2011 and half of those who says he sucks today will call him "untouchable" by August.

    I don't think Jimenez will get 200 ABs, but I wouldn't be surprised that Calhoun and Conger to get them. I am also willing to bet Hamilton gets 30+ HR's. Blanton will suck and Richards is in the rotation before season ends. I do not see any trades, we don't have enough to get a significant peace so Cron stays with the club.

    Why doesn't Sosh have Bourjos working on his steals? There are two outs in a spring league game. Now would be the time to work on them!
