    So we are going to use the evaluation of minor leaguers to judge the performance of a major league manager....OK OK....things are getting really silly here.

    The team had their middle of the lineup with runners in scoring position. It wasn't the manager's fault that we lost.

    You made good points. With Weaver out and our pitching suspect there is reason to be concerned, but not reason to panic than many on this board.

    This really hurts. Our pitching staff and depth was a question mark from the beginning, now our Ace is out. Things are not looking good!

    Both A's and Rangers have already played the Astros maybe that is why they area ahead of us in the standings!

    Would agree....3-3 is a positive start. 2-4 is a disappointing start. However, it is still just two series. Will not panic until another week or so!

    I am so glad wannabe managers have the luxury of hindsight when the make decisions. Unfortunately real managers do not have that luxury.

    Neither one is funny! Both incidents left people DEAD. It doesn't matter if the incident was out of self defense or negligence, it is not funny to mock an incident where people died!

    I thought it was a bad call by Sosh as well; however after hearing his explanation (plan to walk the righty next) it made more sense.

    That is the problem with rating a manager's moves. It is too subjective to determine if it was a good move or bad move.

    I subscribe to the LA Times and its only $18 a month. Not $2 a day! I have no problem with paying a subscription for online newspapers. I am surprised they didn't start doing it sooner. The internet has been forcing newspapers out of business, this maybe one way they can survive.

    Grading is simple. If the team wins, the manager is a genious, if the team loses the manager sucks!
