Johnny G. will be the starting second baseman next season. We need to give Kowart/Kubitza a shot at third base. I'm sorry, but I just don't see Kendrick playing for the angels next season. Too many other areas that need those financial resources. Go Halos!!!

As far as pitching goes, get rid of Wilson for whatever we can get. Richards, Heaney, Tropeano, Skaggs, Newcomb, Weaver and Shoemaker can battle it out for the starting 5. Put Santiago/ and whomever does not make the starting 5 into the bullpen for spot starts and long relief. Let Freese go and whomever is the heir apparent let them start at third. Try to pick up Cespedes for LF and let Johnny G get the reps at 2nd base. Need to pick up a viable back up catcher. I believe that Carlos Perez has paid his dues and should start at catcher next season. Start grooming Gott for the closer role and please teach him how to throw a changeup. That's enough for now, still hurting from yesterday. Go Halos!!!

I'm not one to complain too much. But I have to agree that not having Murphy in the lineup is disturbing. I can see Murphy being a lethal bat off the bench late. But then again, with Murphy in the lineup the Angels may not have to pinch hit. Either way.....Go Halos!!!

I don't see a problem with the major league manager wanting players to have certain skill sets when they arrive at the big club. I for one would think that the minor league teams emulate the style of play that is utilized at the major league level. Go Halos!!!

You keep a player like Giavotella. He brings energy and is fun to watch. He also has a flare for the dramatics. Also, you would have to think that having his vision issue that thoughts of never playing again may have motivated him in a way that changes perspective. The kid is a gamer and you need players like that on a roster.

If we make the playoffs, Trout wins the MVP, Why? Because without Trout, the Angels are nowhere near the playoffs. With Donaldson, the Jays are still in first place. Especially following the other acquistions at the trade deadline. And let's face it, Trout is just a more popular player. Besides, Trout does Subway commercials.
