Let's not make a trade just to make a trade. As I type this, we are only 2.5 games back in the Wild Card. Granted, we are not playing well or at least playing as well as we would like. But the truth is, I don't see a trade that will make us an immediate WS contender. I say go with what you got and let this thing play out. Go Halos!!!

Sorry Homebrewer, But I will take the owner/manager combination that wins 98 games in the regular season. Only 10 teams make the playoffs and only one wins. The World Series Champion is not always the best or the highest paid team. You have to be in the playoffs to win it. 20 teams from last year would have loved to be in the Angels situation. I'm a fan from the 70's, when just making the playoffs was something we Angel fans used to dream of. Go Halos!!!

Trade, dump or demote? Absolutely not!! I more than anyone is hoping that he can become a Greg Maddux type and really become an off speed / precision type pitcher. I just hope he gives the club reason to extend his contract. However, I am also pleased to read that others are concerned. I for one believe that the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back.

He was last years All Star MVP, nothing left to prove. Then again, I am not a big fan at all of games that don't count. The injury risk scares the hell out of me. Go Halos!! P.S. I would absolutely watch it, if Trout participates.

I know he was an 18 game winner last season. But it just seems that he can't hit his spots consistently. With how slow he is pitching there is absolutely no room for error, you have to hit your spots. Is he really going to be worth $20 million next season? I know this is not going to be a topic well recieved but at some point we have to start looking at what the options are. Curious to know what you guys think. Go Halos!!

Let's keep things in perspective. Mike Trout was the #25 pick of the 2009 draft. That means 24 teams before the Angels passed on arguably the best player on the planet. 24 scouting departments didn't see the talent that Trout had. It's a crap shoot people. They do the research and make the best decision possible. Go Angels
