    Barria is really young. It is probably best for him to get more seasoning at AAA. I could see them working on stretching out his pitching - to get to the 7th inning, which is something he hasn't done in his career.

    Personally I would like to see the Nats in the World Series, and if they're not playing the Angels, I would root for them. Interesting the writers show improvement for the Angels.

    Nah, I disagree. There are some that will always be negative, and will miraculously be positive if the team starts winning. I became an Angels fan with "Tanana and Ryan and a whole lot of cryin'" Lots of, well putrid teams over the years, but I will root for them to win every game.

    I just secretly hope that they take Noe Ramirez' stats as an indication and move on. I remember a story about a pitcher that was competing for a final spot on the roster and got absolutely pulverized in the last spring training game. Partially through the inning he realized he was going to the minors, his fate was sealed. After the game he was told he made the squad.

    Eppler is very intriguing as a GM. He has Stoneman traits as far as building an organization, but is willing to pull the trigger when necessary. I think he'll sign an extension near the end of the 2020 season.

    And you can kill a fly with a Buick too. But a flyswatter is A LOT cheaper. Hyperbole much? Massive power? So averaging 30 homers playing half his games in a hitters park is massive power? By comparison Trout averages 37 in a pitchers park.

    The team would be improved, but with the Angels he does not fit a need they have. The Angels need is to have more scoring opportunities for Trout, Upton, Simmons, etc. And also lessen Pujols' negative impact on the lineup.
