Problem with the measurements now is there are eventual impediments, and most of the time it's just guess work.  A ball could hit position A for 475 feet.  But from how I understand these measurements work, and I can be totally wrong here, but a line drive hit to position A counts the same as a lofted ball hit to position A.  
 
Back in the Mantle and especially Ruth days, there was no impediments.  So you pretty much could measure where it landed in the parking lot.  Thus have a possible 500+ foot shot.  
 
Trumbo should just dispel it all, and hit one out of Doggie park and onto Mattingly's car.

Years from now, they will have a 30 for 30 on why so many teams didn't draft trout, kind of like in the nfl 83 draft in why so many teams didn't draft Dan Marino when they could had.

I just don't see the dedication. He is getting older now, he needs to stay in good shape in the off season. He needs to drop some weight. Kobe Bryant got older and he dropped weight, because he knows the wear and tear of the game when your body gets older.
 
 
Pujols is now going to linger on these years. He should be a lot slimmer imo. Now the Angels will probably get a player that  will battle through nagging injuries the rest of his career, where he isn't able to perform like he should.

He needs to go down to triple AAA to correct some things. He is just awful right now. He is hurting this team offensively.

A player that has earned enough service time or is outof options must consent to being sent to the minors and only for an agreed upon amount of time.

Or have Trout bat before Hamilton. Trout gets on base, Hamilton will see more fast balls and less breaking balls.
