i would like to have kept mackinnon at least through the end of this season. while he wasn't a world beater, i thought he was more useful than some of guys we've called up this year.
I agree on MacKinnon. Now that Walsh is injured he would have had more playing time. Seems like Ford is doing...."ok".

McKinnon is here as well on the aviators. It’s an Angels reunion tonight.

Theo I'm ok with. I don't know about Beane.

It was pretty funny when people were mad that Rojas wasn’t playing it enough. Anyway.
I'm genuinely curious as to why there is such a jump of skill from AAA to MLB? Why so many don't get the call or have enough skill to stick around?

How about drawing them in a bathub together? Something like this.

Probably a fake card.

Nevon's awful, but the team won't be any better next year so I see no problem with having a lame duck manager until we get new ownership and the team begins a proper rebuild.
So if the team was winning, Nevin would be great?

Ha, maybe from the days when I was doing the Richter Scale show on AM 830 with Jeff Biggs. I tried to sound professional being on prime time drive time radio.
But nah, I'm a California beach kid. People say I sound like Tony Hawk when I talk. We're about the same age too.
I guess because your such a manly built dude that I automatically thought it was deep. HA HA

I wouldn't mind Ryan Reynolds purchasing the team.

I'm rooting for MacKenzie Scott. Bezos' ex-wife. She met the dude when he was a lowly computer programmer, and now she's the second richest woman in America (worth $58.5B). Think of what she could do with the Angels.

Is it April 1st??? Too good to be true! Come on down Steve Ballmer.

Everyone's mentality here is why we always need to go after the big splash in FA. There is no risk to signing these young players to long term contracts. I love what the Braves are doing. Detmers, Sandoval, Rengifo, Ward is who I sign long term.

The lack of a proper pickle play has left the Angels in quite a bottom-of-the-ninth pickle.
Loup did slip on his way home, but just not quick enough.

5-0 Angels. Book it!

Next season will be interesting when each teams plays less of their division during the season.

I remember reading that Perry wants to make sure our backups players are of high caliber, so if a starter goes down, we don't go down to Duffy/Mayfield/McKinnon level of players. Our bench has sucked for quite the time. I wouldn't mind knowing that our backup is more than capable of holding the line before the starter comes back from injury. Because we ALL know it's going to happen.

Nevin. Nevin. Nevin.
Young team now playing with edge and competing every inning. Even Trout is going to need to change his ways and days of playing in a daze

We should have just kept CJ Cron
Maybe we can pick up his brother Kevin Cron. He's a free agent.
His 2019 line was ridiculous:

Why the F was Mickey trying to bunt after hitting a HR?

I would hope a decision is made early in off season. Angels going to keep him in 2023 signed or unsigned. This will linger all winter and into next season.
Exactly. If he doesn't want to sign an extension then you trade him at the beginning of the off-season. Then we work on our plans for 2023. Why is that so difficult?

Shut him down as far as pitching goes. Shut Trout down too.
Then next Spring we'll have three well-rested superstar hitters anchoring a new lineup, with a revamped bullpen, a healthy Ohtani on the mound, and a couple new starters that genius Perry will acquire over the winter.
World Series here we come!
(forgot to mention I'm running a fever of 103 and experiencing bouts of delerium.)
How much damn time do these guys need to rest?
