Josh Hamilton is Jerry Dipoto's Rorschach test. If Hamilton doesn't turn it around and has a terrible year, then I think we can safely say that Jerry Dipoto has no clue what he's doing, beyond looking at stat pages (and then only the "first page").

Remember that Hamilton was all Arte Moreno's doing.  I don't think we can blaim Dipoto for this one.  I still think he is one of our best GM's so far!  It's been the same story.  Great hitting, no pitching, Great pitching, no hitting.  Great hitting, No Bullpen!  Great Bullpen, No hitting!

It does matter.  I've noticed when the offense scores before the opposing team, they end up playing better.

Hamilton gets better pitches.  Pujols has Trumbo has protection behind him.

Trout seemed to hit better as a Leadoff than a #2 hitter.

Is it only Trumbo that has these armpit vents? Never noticed them before.

those vents are for the cool base uni's. I believe its new this year.  My jersey has them as well.

I have a PN63C7000 and while fiddling around went to:

Menu >>Picture>>Advanced Settings>>White Balance>>R-Offset

Took the R-Offset to 0 and the purple band went away.

I have a three year old Samsung 58 inch plasma TV that I need to get rid of. It is a PN58C7000 3D TV.

 

It has an issue when displaying a full screen of very light colors (Light Blue, Light Green, White) that it will put a diffused red/purple hazy stripe through the screen. I notice it mostly during golf when they are showing the ball in the sky. If there is any color object on the tv along with the light colors it does not occur. It is brief. It has been going on for a couple months and is usually a sign that the TV will eventually go out.

 

If anyone wants it I would take $200 for it if you come pick it up. Original cost was $2900, not that it matters. The TV is still very watchable and the red is hardly ever noticeable. The TV has 4 HDMI, 2 USB, LAN, DVI, and it is a smart TV so it has all the DLNA stuff and Samsung Apps, etc.

Why didn't we sign Lohse? Why didn't we sign Joe Saunders?  Continue the list of free agents pitchers who would be a better option.

depends who you are rooting for.  Probably the most boring game I have ever attended.  Plus i enjoyed having moths flying around all night as well.

To much suprise i got club seats for $15 for tomorrow.  Cannot remember the last time those have been so inexpensive.  Thank You Season Ticket Holder!  HAte You Ticketmaster 1.50 plus 4.95 S&H charge.

I felt like a little kid seeing someone with so much popularity on this board.  I noticed the hat and I began to giggle!  LOL  No really in all honesty I think It was percysquint in section 412.  Thought it was cool since I have never seen anyone nor met anyone from the board.  Only the few thrills of the game.

I went to get a Hot chocolate for my dad at the 7th inning in the lower view level.  Hardly ANY consession stands were open.  The grandstand was open but nobody was in line. Kinda wierd.  Crappy last opening day for me.

Why do i feel like i just watched a video game!?!?!  I rather have those graphics than what crappy FSN comes out with.

Got to play 1 game so far.  Smooth as butter.  I played the opening day game against the Reds with Chapman pitching.  Damn his pitches r fast!  Gameplay was great.  So far my only complaints are having to wait for them to round the bases to see their dang homeruns.  Is there a quicker way to view them besides replay?
