Now Machado??? Yep, if he's willing to play third and Trout is already extended, then sure. 

Machado likely ends up as a 1B in 3 years. I would definitely shy away from locking him up to a 8-10 year deal at $30 mill a year (likely market price).

If Scioscia is out after this year I could see the new regime work with the FO and ask Lozano to check around baseball to see if anybody would have interest in Albert if he were DFAed.

If Scioscia leaves the club I would be shocked if TheAlbertross was on a MLB roster entering 2020. Shocked.

We don't have a top 10 prospect the Mets would require to head line a package. They are looking for a 80 grade prospect + others in a return.

Calhoun was a B prospect when he was moved? Wow, you sure are an incredibly strict grader. Sickels has him as a B+/A- entering this year. 

If the Mariners win 93+ games this year DiPoto likely deserves the honor of Executive of the Year. 

If Richards was healthy through mid July with a 3.21 ERA we could have landed more than a B prospect. Especially if the SP Market is thin this summer.

Apparently it was a hamstring issue today. Not an arm issue. Maybe he did talk to the Angels about an extension and decided it was better to wait out till free agency?

You absolutely should not trade any prospects for players that would not be in the team’s 2019 plans.

This. That plus kids know the harder they throw the more $ they will receive when drafted. Radar guns were rarely used until the 1980s.

could also be a result of the team taking more risk with draft prospects to make up for a lackluster system the past 7 years or so.

Ohtani won’t be moved to the bullpen unless he asks to be moved. I highly, highly doubt this will ever happen.

the Angels must stick to the plan and keep him as a starter. He’s far more valuable as a starter.
