No. I think he's telling everyone but the Angels to do that.

I'm saying he entered the league as a 19 year old, and still posted a respectable OPS of .739.  It has climbed every year, with the exception of last year. As a comp, Mike Trout entered the league at 19 as well, and posted an OPS of .672. Not trying to say Machado is in Trout's class (nobody is, or has been) although much of Manny's career has been spent at a more premium position. Just saying it's pretty harsh to judge a kid as "only" putting up a few good years when he's just reaching the age that many major leaguers get their first taste, and still a ways from his prime production years. Does that make more sense?

If you'd like to receive legitimate response, it might be wise to at least specify which individual move(s) you disagreed with tonight. Not sure how many are going to try determine the timestamp of your post, figure out how long it took you to formulate and write said post and then go back and identify the apparently egregious move. Maybe start with doing that, then at least a real conversation can occur.

I'll go on record and say I think there's a place for Bedrosian in our bullpen. But it is NOT in the 9th, or even the 8th inning. Call it what you will; grit, makeup, WHATEVER - he can (and does) pitch really well when the game is not on the line. Slot him in the 6th, MAYBE the 7th, and in a mop-up when we're being blown out. This is where he excels. 3 years of trying to make him the 'closer of the future' has failed.

At some point the new money ball will be to get players that don’t strike out.  Imagine this team with all the runners we have had on third with less than two outs, only to strand them because of one or two strike outs.  You just need the right kind of outs to score a run or two more a week.  
The game is long and getting more boring because of the amount of strike outs and walks.  While driving to Havasu last week I listened to my first Effectively Wild podcast.  They were discussing this and one of their suggestions was moving the mound back to 63-65 feet encourage offense and limit strike outs.  

that's the only way to score both Pujols and Maldonado with one hit.
