Number 4 should be retired for Grich, and he should be in the HOF!

I thought we may keep Pomeranz. I thought he pitched pretty well in ST. Oh well, someone else will sign him, and he'll end up beating us 3 times this season.
-
Is there any chance we can trade Suarez and keep Pomeranz?
-
Why? He's better than Adrianza at this point in their careers, IMO. He plays a great SS, and he can run.
-
The real Angel in number 5!

Rengifo can back up at SS if something happens to Neto anyway. The Angels have some interchangeable parts in their infield, and Soto is just a phone call away.

Montgomery, JD, and Clevenger all on one year deals, possibly for less than Snell alone.
-
If it is not giving up the draft choice, I can understand that, maybe. But, signing Snell also would give the Angels a starting pitching surplus, if there is any such thing.
One SP to trade, with a couple of teams woefully short in SP, like the Yankees and Red Sox appear to be, offers an opportunity to replenish the farm system after last summer, when we dealt two or three of our top prospects away in deals that obviously didn't work.

Sano is our Joey Gallo. .240 with 30 HR.

Oh for craps sakes Minasian get your head out of your ass.
Do you guys want the team to win some actual effing ballgames this year?
You're all aware we've had a sub-.500 record for almost a decade straight, right?
This is the price Arte should pay for wussing out on Ohtani and forcing us to hear nothing but shit about it from doyer fans. The league hates us already, sign him and give him 6 months, if he's a dud on the field or worse in the clubhouse than that other bum on the team (which can't be possible because Bauer actually wants to play), then dump him.
Light a fire under this teams ass. Give them some passion for league minimum on the mound. It's a win win scenario.
I agree 100 percent with this. A starting pitcher for the minimum, which allows us to leave Soriano in the pen. Also, no draft pick compensation, and no long term commitment, unless he earns it.

I really think that no one is going to claim J.D. Davis and his 6.9 million dollar salary. I think he's going to clear and become a FA. At that point, he can be a starter on a second division team, like Colorado or Oakland, or he can be part of a platoon on a team like the Angels.

Inverse order of the standings last season in the NL, then if no NL teams claim, same in the AL. At 6 mil plus for 2024, I’m guessing someone in the NL claims him. Cards or Dodgers?

Schaunel sure hit that a long way!

Maybe he should only play once a week, kind of like when Ohtani pitches, except for fielders.

Sano doesn’t look any better, or worse, than Rendon, or Trout, for that matter. He does look in very good physical condition. If it was up to me, I’d keep him up to the last cut, giving him as many at-bats as possible.

If anyone says that the Angels or another team are going to sign a player, now I just think, “good for the other team.” We’re not signing anyone.
