    It's the 64-bit version, because I'm running Win7 64 bit. Even with iTunes installing the latest update last night, it's still the same. I'm just giving up on it, because apparently Apple doesn't care enough to even respond.

    MLB Network says that the Mariners are interested in both Cruz and Rodney. Cruz I get because they had problems scoring runs. Rodney I don't, because they have better, younger and more consistent pitchers already in their bullpen.

    I went to a Rams-Cardinals game in Tempe the year the Rams moved to St. Louis. It was a surreal atmosphere. A bunch of Rams fans had made the trip in from California. These people had just lost their team, yet they were out in force to support them.

    This is one thing that the late World Football League had right, IMO. A touchdown was worth seven points, which meant that it was worth more than two field goals, and after every touchdown a team tried for an "action point", which they had to run or pass for from the 2 1/2 yard line.

    I would. Wearing a batting helmet isn't practical, and the pitcher is closer to the hitter than any player on the diamond save the catcher (and anything coming the catcher's way is generally going to be a foul tip rather than anything squared up and hammered). Of course, I wonder how much extra protection it would offer.

    This hits on one of my pet peeves: Friends who have Facebook pages and all the photos on them are of children and/or grandchildren. If there is a photo of the owner at all, it is a high school yearbook photo. It isn't the kids' page, and in all likelihood none of us would run screaming into the streets if you put up a current photo of yourself. None of us look like we did when we were 18.

    That reminds me - the same radio host read back another tweet that listed songs that Pete Seeger gave us, and Like a Rock was the last one on the list. Wonder if Bob Seger will tweet tonight that he is not dead.

    Domino's is terrible, Little Caesars is as bad or worse, Pizza Hut is edible, haven't been to Papa John's in years so I don't have much recollection of it. There are a couple of local places that lay waste to all of them.

    Charges against a Jeffersonville woman who spent five months in jail for a 48-hour sentence are expected to dropped while she moves ahead with filing a civil lawsuit against Clark County for her lengthy incarceration. If the DA is really tough on crime, he will still go for a conviction. Damn, I would like to be this woman's lawyer...

    One of my favorite musicians of all time. A local radio host was talking this afternoon about tributes put out on Twitter, and she asked that people do a little research before tweeting. Several people mixed Pete Seeger tunes with Bob Seger tunes in their tributes. One said that he would play Turn the Page in his honor tonight. Makes one wonder if they even realize who passed away.

    I'm not sure that "interest" is quite the way I would describe some of the responses you got. Some were pretty funny, though.

    Steven Seagal didn't look that much different to me. Had to laugh at the side-by-side with Sarah Jessica Parker and the horse. Lindsey Lohan looks about 60. I suppose that high mileage will do that to you.
