  1. Here is what I think regarding Arya and the Waif... Ill put a spoiler tag on it even though this is 100% theory...
  2. This isn't the NFL where you draft 6 or 7 guys and hope a couple stick. The Angels issues are either in their scouting or in their development. Yes, every team has bad picks. I would think so when you're drafting 30+ guys a year. The MLB draft probably relies on scouting way more than any other sport because first round picks just aren't as for sure prospects as they are in the NFL and NBA. So if your team is terrible at scouting and then also terrible at development then you're in a situation like the Angels with a bad farm system and no hope in sight.
  3. This team has drafted horribly for some time now. What makes you think they're suddenly going to get it right just because they have high picks?
  4. This will be a save situation by the time Bedrosian gets done with it.
  5. This reminds me of the GSC which isn't a good thing.
  6. Well, I would hope the end of the series had a holy shit moment. This whole story is nothing but holy shit moments. Can you imagine if the ending sucked and was completely predictable?
  7. Yeah, it could be a reference to him becoming the three eyed Raven which supposedly happened in the last episode.
  8. I think Bran is more powerful than simply warging into a dragon. The way Brans character is going and his ability to influence past events I think would be wasted if he just "became a dragon." Plus, he's not Targaryan. Ive seen quite a few theories of Bran actually being someone who has lived multiple lives through the history of Westeros and the one we see now is just the current "Bran" Some theories go as far as Bran being the one that built the wall. That the three eyed Raven is actually an old version of Bran trying to lead the younger Bran down the correct path. Maybe older Bran saw how things turned out so he's trying to influence himself to not do the same things again. I think when it's all said and done, Bran is going to be the most complex character of the series.
  9. The way the show runners put it after the episode is theThreeaeyed Raven "uploaded" all his knowledge into Bran. I'm guessing not al of it was transferred to him but it's going to be really interesting to see what Bran now knows and what he's able to do.
  10. I think Brienne is a big part of the whole story. I don't think anything happens to her unless she dies an honorable death at the very end. I think there is a reason that they decided to give her a Valayrian Steel sword.
  11. Today it's sore ankle. Tomorrow it's torn achilles.
  12. They also have the least amount of K's in the majors. By quite a bit too. They put the ball in play a lot and that's going to lead to GIDP unfortunately.
  13. Maybe he will have a really good month of starts then we can flip him at the deadline.
  14. Like him or not, Jerry Jones is very powerful and influential in the NFL. He's the reason the Rams are even in LA. The Raiders are one of the poorest teams in the NFL and Mark Davis is probably the poorest owner. It's probably in the best interest of the rest of the owners that he sells the team.
  15. She already told Sansa that she ran into Arya a couple episodes ago. Speaking of Brienne, I really enjoyed the scene of her telling Davos and Mellisandre that she was the one that killed Stannis
  16. First thing ... MLB draft is incredibly boring. Second thing ... drafting for need is ALWAYS a terrible idea. Especially when it comes to baseball. You always draft best player available. You can figure out the rest later. You have plenty of time to do so in baseball.
  17. Vin Scully said we got Calhoun in the trade with St Louis for Bourjos. Ummm....
  18. It's pretty obvious to me Giavotella should have slugged Howie in the face for that play.
  19. I don't get how people think that's a clean slide. He didn't even start his slide until he was over the bag. It's hard to defend either guy in this.
  20. Bautista is just as big of a douche. He had a great quote after the game... "I had a hard slide at second base. I could have injured [Odor, but] I chose not to," Bautista said. "I tried to send a message that I didn't appreciate getting hit [by the pitch]." So he CHOSE not to injure Odor on the play. Thanks for being such a great guy Bautista.
