I don’t see the Angels confirming they’re a finalist. Arte seems to be very tight lipped in terms of what kind of deals he’s working on. Which is also why I’m shocked Eppler actually came out and said the Angels were even interested.

I agree with you. The pacing of everything now just seems incredibly rushed. They could have easily went into more detail and slowed it down a bit and extended this season to its usual 10 episodes. With that said, the creators have been saying the last couple years the time commitment and cost of this show has gone from TV show commitment to feature film commitment. They're spending an incredible amount of time and money on this and I'm sure they're ready to move onto or do other things. They said originally the season was delayed by a few months because of weather issues and there needing to be snow. But I haven't seen any scenes that involved snow that didn't involve snow in previous seasons. So I'm wondering if the delay was because of how much time and effort has gone into these episodes and them just needing more time to complete the visual effects and to film the giant scenes that have taken place.

They both were smugglers for Jabba the Hutt. So it would make sense for them to go back to Tatooine after their business on Jedda was settled. Mos Eisley was the main spaceport of Tatooine so they could have very easily walked into the cantina to get a drink after just arriving to the planet.

I think the most followed story prior to Rogue One was from the video game Dark Forces where you play as Kyle Katarn and you have to steal the Death Star plans. He later went on to become a big character in the expanded universe stuff.

Wasn't going to happen. Gareth Edwards was really anal to details when making Rogue One. He wasn't going to use a different actor that looked slightly different than the original. All the details, even small ones, are exactly how they were seen in A New Hope.

Movie was pretty damn amazing. Definitely made you feel the war aspect of the series. The last 5 minutes is probably worth the entire price of admission. I loved all the references to A New Hope and the film is full of cameos. Just have to pay attention. They did a very good job of bringing the nostalgia without throwing it in your face like Force Awakens did. And while I know a lot of people are against CGI, Grand Moff Tarkin was done beautifully. It was jaw dropping amazing how good his CGI was.

If you plan on going, the Rose Parade is on the 2nd since the 1st is a Sunday (they don't have the parade on Sundays).

This is just Pujols way of not having to do spring training. Just as bad as NFL veterans missing all of training camp and then the season starts and their suddenly better.

So, curious how you Rams fans would feel about getting Tony Romo for next year? I don't watch a lot of Rams games, even though I've watched a few since they've moved to LA and are on local TV. But their offense looks atrocious and with Tony Romo likely traded this offseason, how would Rams fans feel about him? Im a Cowboys fan and would love to see Romo go to the Rams just so I can see his career out with the local team. But I'm also not familiar on the Rams salary cap situation or what kind of compensation they can offer after trading up to get Goff.

I like the uniforms they have now. They're modern and look really sharp. Wouldn't mind them bringing back the sleeveless version though. Especially for the Sunday home games.
