    My parents live in a community where you have the typical white people wanting to buy guns for protection (probably because Obama or some other dream like that). It's very affluent and has one of the best crime rates in California. Not sure if it does go hand in hand with areas of high crime rates.

    To be honest, I would think people in your neck of the woods are the opposite of trigger happy. To have the occasional rifle/shotgun in your house for hunting or safety against predatory animals reason, I can see that as a lifestyle of a certain gun ownership. To have a gun in your house as protection though. To constantly being on the defensive if any baddies come breaking in and being ready at any and all times is the mentality that would make people trigger happy.

    Very tragic. I don't know what the government should do. Maybe it's not even the government's job to do anything? Maybe it comes down to our gun and trigger happy society and an American mentality? Maybe that's what needs to change.

    To be honest, I looked for a general gun thread and couldn't find one. The list is short: 1) Anything but purposeful derailment by bringing up a topic that has nothing to do with this one because you don't like the thread at hand.

    Three times MT. You obviously didn't read the article I posted a few pages back. I think most of us in here understand that controlled fires serve a purpose. But fires burned on federal land that were not allowed by federal authority is what we are talking about here.

    That's quite an assumption. I don't view them as less than me. I just think they are assholes for what they've done since 1999.

    Public property is property that is the country. Ours. I care about that property. Shocked that you don't. I read all the way until point (I) where I cross referenced what I read in other articles showing that this article was biased and misrepresenting the real story. Then I couldn't believe in the article as a whole.

    I thought the game was great. My little issues with the game were semi-non issues and issues with most Bethesda games that I look the other way because the rest of the game as a whole makes up for it. My issue was the ending. It seems like once you got to the institute you still had to do a million non-important things. I was finding myself going, "jesus Christ just end this game already!" That's not good if you're trying to get a great story to people.
