  1. We're not talking about people assaulting people and the time they get. We're talking about a law that's on the books and the arson this family did on federal land.
  2. Started a fire on Federal land in 1999 and the Feds wagged their finger and said don't do it again or else. The guy of course did it again. The first time he did it, lit the fire to cover up the illegal hunting and then two hours after he lit the fire he called dispatch and asked if it was ok to light the fire.
  3. Sounds like this family are a bunch of douchebags http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest-news/index.ssf/2015/12/ranchers_fight_with_feds_spark.html
  4. Whatever word you want to call it. The actions that they did regarding the arson is completely reasonable to get the minimum 5 year sentence. What other issues are you talking about?
  5. Don't know if the feds are trying to make examples out of them as I'm not a fed. What I do know is arson on federal land is a mandatory 5 year sentence by law. They were found maliciously setting fire on federal land. I'm not going to cry over them getting 5 years for that. If it was an accidental fire on the family's land that bled into the federal land I could see that being one that, but this wasn't the case according to the trial.
  6. Here's a good write up on the trial of the fires, the lies the family tried to use to cover up the first fire, and the sentencing dispute. http://www.justice.gov/usao-or/pr/eastern-oregon-ranchers-convicted-arson-resentenced-five-years-prison
  7. The fact of the matter is they illegally set fire on BLM land two separate times. A jury of their peers found them guilty and the two were required to serve a 5 year sentence. Not sure how the Government is being douchy in this?
  8. Nate, I don't read anywhere that the government is taking away land that is owned by the family. I'm reading that the government is taking back government land that was allotted as grazing land at one point in time. Is this what you're referring to?
  9. I'm having a hard time seeing how the BLM is in the wrong on anything here?
  10. Finished Fallout 4, started Arkham Knight. My god is that a beautiful game. I hope they NEVER stop making Batman games.
  11. I've loved almost all the Lego games I own/have played. I'm not a fan when they started making the characters able to talk though.
  12. I think it goes further than that Blarg, are they even a party? Libertarians are just a collection of people on social networking that are angry at everyone.
  13. A friend of mine's boyfriend will probably be coming here on a fiance' visa next year. Good luck to him after this shit.
  14. The first thing I'm doing if I'm voted president is outlawing hashtags. First off anyone that says "hashtag" and not "pound symbol" is getting a beating by my anti-fascist fascist gestapo, and if you use a hashtag then you're getting thrown in a North East Alaskan gulag. #angrytobias
  15. Because really, Amazon is partially to blame for this whole thing by not going to bat for what they thought was a great ad campaign.
  16. I'd love to know how many people complained to Amazon or is it just a knee jerk reaction by Amazon to pull it because a few people posed the question of, "is this right or wrong?"
  17. This guy is probably great to hang with at get togethers "Previously, Swanson has said that gay people should face the death penalty; that the movie Frozen turns little girls into lesbians; and that natural disasters are the fault of godless fornicators."
  18. I stick with the same 3 guns plus grenades/mines. Those with my clothing/gear and my "aid" comes out to about 140/220. When I go to a place I usually get just enough stuff to fill up and have my companion carry stuff. When I'm done with that building/place I just go back and empty everything in Sanctuary. Also with the settlement thing I feel like I should scavange for a great settlement spot to make epic. I haven't found that place just yet. The Drive-In is pretty good, so if I don't find a better one in a few weeks I'll probably just settle there.
  19. I haven't done any settlement building. Don't know if I will or not to be honest. Doesn't seem fun to me. I've heard people bitch about it also how it's hard to line up doors, walls, etc. We'll see. Maybe if I have a few hours and a bug up my ass I'll try to create a bitchin' settlement. For now I just dump all my junk in Sanctuary, go off to explore, fill up my load, dump it all in Sanctuary, wash rinse and repeat.
  20. One of my favorite things about this Fallout game is the atmosphere. I feel they went above and beyond to make the world really creepy. It's so good I NEVER have my radio on. I just like the background sounds to fill up the game. I've seen pictures of different parts of the world that I haven't experienced yet that I can't wait to go to because of how strange and dark they look. I've heard rumors of getting caught in radiation storms and I'm stoked when that happens. Just an overall awesome feeling to the game that I felt they went a bit cheeseball in FO:NV. Also I'm just now following the Freedom Trail and exploring Boston. It has an Escape from N.Y./L.A. feel to it. One street is ruled by Supermutants and you have an epic fight on your hands, then you'll keep exploring and get attacked by a gang of wild dogs, then go down an alley and get ambushed by raiders. I also feel the animals are tougher in this game than the past ones. The fact that radscorpions and moles hide in the ground and come up wherever you least expect is awesome. Those radiation bears are tough as hell. They've set this game up to where you can't Leeroy Jenkins the game and I love it. Being cautious is key to the game and it makes the Fallout world that much better.
