You know things are going good for the Angels when Justin Bour and Tommy La Stella homer, and Brian Goodwin is your second best hitter behind Trout.  Just a really weird season so far.

It's remembering people like Nick (and other family/friends) who make me appreciate every day I wake up!
As I've gotten older I now appreciate everything more and more, and try not to sweat the small stuff, cause usually it works out in the end!
BTW, Thanks @Chuckster70 for sharing those pictures!

The biggest blessing to me was being able to bless Nick's mom and dad with a cherry wood framed collage of his pictures coming up through the Angels brass, including his brilliant start against the A's. 
We presented them to Tim Mead, Wally Joyner's daughter (who was an intern in the PR department), who then gave the memorial pictures to mom and dad. 
Brian, Lou, Glen, Adam, Dave, Bruce, Jody and so many others were there that day, under the Big A. Special moment in AW history for me. 

It's hard to believe it's 10 years since Nick Adenhart's last start!

Funny how in the past 3+ games, most of us (myself included regarding Tommy Boy) have been "bad mouthing" the Angels players/pitchers, and LO AND BEHOLD, they come through and do something awesome!!!!! Maybe we need to keep up the "bad mouthing" and keep the team winning like it has since our Home Opener!

Scioscia was trying to make a pizza with ramen noodles. It’s basically the same bullpen and a few interchanged position players...yet things look/feel different 

The ALCS game cost the Angel's a game and probably the series.  I saw a blown call against the tigers that cost a perfect game.   I remember a WS game were Reggie Jackson thruster his hip to deflect the ball...leading to two runs and costing the Dodger the game.  So long as there are judgement calls there will be blown calls.  And sometimes they will cost games.
