If this team makes the postseason, Perry's got to win exec of the year. He has actually done an insanely good job building this team if you think about it objectively (it's not his fault a bunch of the lineup isn't hitting close to it's career averages with RISP).
Drafting all pitchers in 2021 looks like it's working out too. Silseth helping the team win now. Bachman was showing flashes of brilliance when he was healthy. Bush and Albright provided great value for trades. So there's still plenty of pitching talent in the farm for the team to hold onto since we went all in there.
How did he get Moniak for Syndergaard?? O'Hoppe for Marsh? That's called ripping a team off in a trade. Jerry and Billy weren't doin stuff like that.
Perry kinda knows what he's doing I believe. Angels are in good shape for years to come.

i believe luis has made the case to be an every day player now...like to see him at 3b when drury gets back and when rendon is healthy just bench him !!
Right, it makes the whole "should Rendon even be in the lineup when he comes back" notion legitimate.

Lol, did your parents drop you on your head as a child?
Lol, did anyone force you to reply?
I like how you can write that and face no repercussions but my account gets silenced for a week for nothing.

Go reload your slow stream and catch up with the rest of us.
Half the board wanted to DFA Loup not long ago. Same people that are like "yay Loup" now, because he's had a very small stretch of pitching well lately.
You either like him or you don't. Pick one.

You are working really hard at trolling.
How about focus on the game instead? It's a good game.
Feel free to explain to me in a DM how I am trolling.
As far as focusing on the game yeah that's usually why I don't spend a lot of time here.

Yep, Moniak is such a bad player now. And lets forget about the nice catch he made in center a little bit ago.
Fans are so flavor of the week.

Still need to trade for a backup catcher or is the 0-38 stretch infatuation gone?

Albies has the craziest looking batting stance I've seen. Dude looks like he's standing at a 45 degree angle with that right foot way back.

These boys are about to go on a run, I can feel it. Cron and Grichuk make the team a lot better.
Minasian exec of the year.

could you be this bad with risp if they tried?
I'm sorry me don't compute?

Shohei getting the Bonds treatment.
Trout... come back any time now.

If you're frustrated with what Mickey Moniak has brought to this team out of nowhere you're straight up delusional.

Everyone just hits Ohtani now. Don't need to pitch around him THAT much.

Renfroe 11-19 in past 5 games, streaky hitter, take advantage.
Rengifo en fuego this month (1.022 OPS in 78 PAs), and recently has risen his vs RHP OPS from high .500s to .623.
He's hot yeah but it would be nice to see the team go with a set lead-off hitter at some point if they're going to make a run.
When Drury comes back Rengifo goes back to being a sub so who leads off then?
-
Are they rolling with Rengifo as the leadoff hitter from here on out? Because Neto has been so in and out and they want a consistent leadoff hitter?
I think Renfroe got moved up a little too high in the order based on decent production in one series.
-
So let me get this straight.
He's been sore since his last start, but it took them until today to decide he can't pitch tonight, when in reality he thinks he needs a "few" more days?

It's sad that the pitching has to be perfect because the offense is such shit right now
This offense is really good, but only when it doesn't try too hard. That's the really frustrating thing about it. It's blatant that 1 thru 9 go up to the plate lately swinging for the fence. They think that's their identity.
Angels are an easy team to root for...

Also, maybe I'm just a big Moniak guy but I don't like when people talk trash about him. Sure he's got some holes in his swing right now, but he's young and I believe those holes can be filled.
