  1. I thought Cozart was Eppler's worst signing, but Harvey is proving that wrong. Cahill seems to also want to remind me that he is in the running.
  2. Even if he is tipping his pitches, most of them happen to be in the middle of the plate. Any competent major league hitter hits almost every pitch hard that is in the middle of the plate.
  3. I agree.Harvey should have stayed in and eaten more innings. He is a veteran pitcher who supposedly can pitch.
  4. I would have played them the same, except Cole. I would have had Bedrosian in instead. There is no good reason to pitch your better bullpen pitchers in a blowout. Let the shitty ones eat the innings and confirm they are still shitty.
  5. My biggest concern is how this afternoon game affects what @Lou is having for dinner.
  6. Evidently the Oriole's scouts could use some help.
  7. But Ohtani takes up only one of those 9 spots.
  8. I hope Harvey and Cahill have enough opportunities to showcase their improvement, but not enough to reveal their suckage. Looking to the trade deadline......
  9. Maybe you should consider a hobby? Your fixation on the status of the Angels is concerning. It's an entertainment business. Nothing more.
  10. I guess Borass is finding new suckers to sign his clients since the teams here have caught on to his bullshit.
  11. Transitional year with younger players means inconsistent results. That is the reality of sports. Just wait for when more of the prospects are introduced into the lineup. The roller coaster ride will truly begin after the youngsters start playing regularly.. I hope Cahill and Harvey keeps pitching well so Eppler can trade them for some talent when the time comes.
  12. But that doesn't stop lots of people from blaming Eppler for signing shitty pitchers.
  13. I liked what I saw in the limited time I have watched Fletcher play short. Fletcher is becoming a very important player to this team.
  14. Their magic number might change at a faster rate than the national debt.
  15. The solution is to get better and not make your competition get worse. How about handing out participation ribbons and trophies instead?
  16. I disagree. His desire to do something historical will overcome his fear of an inside pitch. From what I understand, Japanese pitchers generally do not pitch inside, unlike 'Merican pitchers. I am not worried. He seems to stay closed longer when facing a right handed pitcher which makes me wonder whether he does not pick the ball up as well from a lefty?
  17. If Cozart plays, I really hope he improves enough to have some semblance of value.
