I know Albert gets a lot of grief here but you have to give him credit, he wants to be out there and play. You know he is out there playing when other players his age would sit or go on the IL. I think he has also been invaluable mentoring  trout especially when trout was younger. I wonder if Trout in his conversations with Albert asked if he could do it all over again would he have stayed a Cardinal for as long as he could....and if that played a role in trout staying an Angel for life. Same thing with him talking to Jeter.

Anyone heard if they are working on an extension to keep him in Anaheim past 2020? He seems to enjoy being an Angel, is a GG shortstop, has picked it up offensively and is a good clubhouse presence. Seems like a no brainer. So what would an extension look like? 5/90-95mill? What would he command as a free agent?

As much as I don’t want to say it, I have a feeling the Angels will screw this up. Just a gut feeling Arte won’t pay him what he’s worth. Also a large part of me thinks Trout wants to go home and play. And to be honest I don’t blame him.

God I hope the angels aren’t the mystery team.

A friend of my wife’s had her husband beat up Sunday night by 4 dodger fans, 3 men and a woman. Had to have emergency reconstructive surgery the night it happened. They have pictures of the dodger fans and the police are looking for them.
