    Interesting. I'm sure the Dodgers will be using Pujols as a PH as well as a starter against Leftys. I looked at their splits versus LHP's this year - Pujols/.878, Muncy/.681, Walsh/.661.

    Absolutely not trolling at all. I think Albert Pujols is a better option against LHP's than Max Muncie or Jared Walsh. The numbers back it up. I think having been an Angels fan as long as I have has made me realistic. And if you think an opinion based in reality makes you a troll then you may want to evaluate your own fandom.     The Dodgers are a well run, smart team. They see the value in having Pujols in the lineup over Muncie versus LHP's.

    Wow, didn't think it possible Pujols would win his 3rd WS before Trout won a playoff game... Good move for Pujols. The Dodgers will benefit from his .878 OPS and 141 sOPS+ vs. LHP's (Walsh is .661 and 86). I think this is a bad look for Minasian.

    I think Trevor Bauer is good for our game. If you hate him then you don't understand what baseball needs in the 21st century and you don't understand the reality is he does the work it takes to compete at the highest level. He's not Puig. He is a great teammate...

    Yep. I agree. Lagares is not going to be the answer in RF. Let's see if Fowler can be productive. If not, they have other options - he did great versus a good lefty tonight.

    Well, it's an observation. Some here wanted to play Lagares instead of Fowler in game two. My point is I think that is wrong and is the easy thing to say but not the right thing to say. So if your argument is that Lagares is better than Fowler then I do know what to tell you... BTW, Fowler has two really nice AB's versus Keuchel tonight...

    I agree. We really should instead rely upon emotional, cliched, knee jerk one day judgments based on false narratives. I say we give Fowler 100 PA's as a player who has a career .793 OPS vs. LHP's before we replace him with Lagares, who has a career .703 OPS vs. LHP's.

    Is Matt Swanson still in his role as Scouting Director? If so, what will his role be? Minasian has hired several new people he worked with in Toronto and Atlanta. I don't know anything about any of them but it feels like Minasian is remaking the front office structure.

    The "He" in this response could have easily been Eppler and not Minasian who you are referring to. This is my point. What has Minasian done that Eppler would not have?

    Bumgarner had a rough 2020 but it can be explained away in the Covid season I guess. He has a contract for $79 M over the next four seasons. Still, I think this would be a nice move if he were available. What would it take to get him? Probably more than Perry would give up/
