They need to cut bait with Suarez. He needs to be sent back down to see if he can turn things around. It is time for Wash to start delivering on his admonishment that those who are not pulling their weight and doing their job won't be on the team anymore. A good start would be dumping or demoting Suarez, and then telling Sandoval to get his act together or he'll be following Suarez.

We can add “continuing to roster Jose Suarez” to the laundry list of things that prove Perry is an awful GM.

I get your point, agree even.. but they made tanking less attractive than in the past.  Draft cap limits, draft order lottery, and international signing caps -- we won't see an Astros/Orioles type rebuild/turnaround again unless some team gets really lucky. 
I think the Angels have made a choice to rebuild, they just didn't come out and say it. They repeated the same exact BS they always do only this year they seemed to value those picks more than at any point in recent history.
My beef is their not having locked in better safety nets than "nobody" in the IF and Aaron Hicks in the OF.

Yesterday before the game I asked another coach a little more about the situation and was told that they still could have bunted. Why they didn’t probably had something to do with the changing pitch probabilities as you get into the count and the changing value of the bunt when you’re moving one runner instead of two. Also, and this is my interpretation, but it’s a lot more risky to bunt with Adell at 3B than with him at 2B because he’s got to actually make some decisions on his own in that case, and well, we’ve seen how that’s gone. 
 
Finally I think that Drury’s absence from yesterdays lineup adds a whole new layer to this. Even though Wash says he was available, and he looked to be available as he was pacing in the dugout, maybe all that was an act. When I get to the ballpark today I plan to ask more about Drury. (And also Ward. He’s the second best OFer so I don’t know why he was DHing.)

I'm not saying he shouldn't have, only that I suspect Wash isnt the type who's going to tell a young player to take a play off. This added consideration also decreases the perceived value of the bunt, imo.

But he is because Perry built no depth.
Unfortunately, he probably is the 13th best, healthy position player in the Angels organization right now due to that lack of depth.
